Scamp/Boler Christmas Ornaments

Hey everyone!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything, but wanted to share something I’ve been working on. Pretty much all of my planned renovations for my Scamp are done and I wanted something else to tinker with. I was decorating my Christmas tree last year and thought it would be great to find a trailer ornament similar to my camper. I searched online, but found nothing. So I thought that maybe I could make one for myself. I did and figured out how to make molds of it and create more.

Thank you so much! Some of my friends have told me about Pineterest - but I haven't done it yet. Not sure if I understand it, but I'll learn...

Those are really cute! Jenny how big are they? Like... big as a 50 cents piece? or 2"x2"? Can you take a picture with something next to one for referance...

They are about 3"x4" --- a little smaller than a postcard.
I might eventually make other models, such as Trilliums and Burro/Uhauls - but not yet.
I made one out of clay and then made a rubber mold of that. Then I use plaster of paris to make the casts. They are painted with metallic acrylic paint (so they end up looking like glass ornaments, but they're not). Still breakable, but not as fragile as glass.

I just created a new version! This one is based on my 76 Scamp, but also looks like a Love Bug. They are made of casting resin covered in white iridescent glitter.

They are for sale.
Go to circa76designs by 76scamp on Etsy. They are usually listed one at a time, but I have more available so if you want more than one or you don't see the color you want you can send me what's called a convo. Then I create a reserved listing for you.
Thanks!

This is what I thought you were talking about.

It is somewhat pricey, however. Last year, Lowe's sold them out somewhat cheaper at the end of the season. I found them on Amazon, but WOW!

Hmm. Apparently Gemmy has changed the design for this year.

I bought 6 of the Scamp/Casita/whatever tree ornaments. They arrived today and are very nice.

Favorite Gifts for the Fiberglass RVer

The holidays will soon be here. Let us share our favorite gifts for the fiberglass RVer. Please add your favs!

As for me, I'm hoping to get an ukelele and a foot powered scooter this holiday season (and I'm not a kid anymore, just a kid at heart)!
What are your favorite gift ideas?
