My 87 13' was striped of all stripes and logos when I got it. It now has a stripe across the door , and pine trees on both sides and rear.

Hi: H.D.& L. You can't put a stripe on the door if you have "Nothing" to do it with!!! You used that up yesterday...remember??? It's 75* here and I'm winterizing??? Somethings wrong with this picture!!!

My 2001 Scamp did not have a stripe so I ordered one from the factory and put it on. At the same time I suggested that they put the stripe on all the trailers from then on. I told them that the trailer looked tacky without the stripe on the door.

Now when I added the stripe on the door I also put it across the A/C vent which is next to the door.

I can't remember if it was 2002 or 2003 when they did in fact start putting the stripe on the door. It was somewhere in that time frame.

I added a stripe and I also added one on the vent on the other side to make it look more finished...that and I'm OCD I think

I do have one on my '82 (13 ft) Strange that your '83 doesn't. Maybe the previous owner put one on mine.

I don't have one on my 88 either and it doesn't look like it's ever had one.

My 1980 doesn't have a stripe on the door. I'd post pictures but until I accomplish a few repairs, I am too embarrassed what with all the very talented posters on this site. -Dan

My 83 has never had a stripe on it... Maybe the factory didn't want you to discover your door was sagging....... Larry
