I just bought an 1986 13' Scamp on ebay. It is in need of a lot of TLC and parts.
I was just on the Scamp parts site and was very surprised. They not only have the parts that I know I am going to need, but unlike most manufacturers they charge very reasonable prices for their parts.
I understand why Scamp has been in business so long and has such loyal and happy customers.

John

More surprises...
I called Scamp to order hinge rebuild kits (for my Boler): they were helpful, and quickly sent the parts via the Post Office, which is the best way to handle non-urgent shipments from the U.S. to Canada - some suppliers insist on using some specific courier, which incurs customs brokerage fees.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

They sound like super-nice folk! If my wife and I ever do get rid of our Casita, it will be to buy a Scamp fifth-wheel.

Hi: I agree with both...Scamp even though they are still operating out of three locations due to the fire were most helpfull, reasonable, and efficent in sending me hinge parts which fit my boler door 100% and I just ordered a door gasket set to install before the winter winds start blowing snow. I also ordered a hinge set in case I get ambitious and try to re hang the door completely...Any small orders are sent via post...YEA Alf S. North shore of Lake Erie

Hi: Again...I forgot one question...Why does it seem that almost every Fiberglass trailer Mfg. has had a fire??? Is it due to the HOT market for their product!!! Alf S. North shore of Lake Erie
