Is there any way to search for members from each state?

I don't think there is a way. You would have to go through membership base and look at each member. I will ask Admin people to look at this.

Not many members list their state or province in the "location" field.

I have passed this on to the Admin Staff. Lets wait and see what they say. I do agree with Morgan. Many people do not list where they are from.

In the members search advanced search page, upper right hand corner, you can "Toggle More Options". Towards the bottom of the page, you can search by location.

Slight caveat to search information. It depends on how the information was listed. Some will spell out the entire state name (Oregon), others will use (OR). You may need to search using both to get the results you are seeking.
