The belly band is currently off the trailer, was contemplating not putting it back on. Was thinking of glassing the joint and have Bonnie work her magic with her airbrush. Mmmmm. Still considering.

I really like the look of no belly band. Less likely to leak as well.

People posting axle info. I replaced my worn 2000# axle with a 2750# unit.
I split the capacity 1500# on left side and 1250# on right side. I took pics, will up load when I connect via Wifi.

Hi, David: I've painted Fibreglass trailers a few times. My biggest challenge was getting the fibreglass clean enough. The first time, despite a quick clean & all the bodywork & sanding, I had a HUGE amount of "fisheyes" in the primer. Had a terrible time sanding it ALL down 'till there was hardly any primer left. Then priming it again, sanding again, then spraying the topcoat. I used a 2-part epoxy primer (uses a hardner) and a 2 part urethane paint - IMRON from Dupont. But there are many others. This requires a paint booth & a painter of course! Some people paint it in their garage, using a brush or roller. Works, but you don't get that automotive finish......
Here's a video of my trailer repaint.
Good luck, Larry

Typically I shoot for an updated list on every page. Looks like I missed one. Expect an updated list soon.

Thanks Larry for sharing your painting experience. It sounds like any project, preparation is very important to a good outcome. How far do I need to sand down my original gelcoat to avoid the dreaded fisheyes? Enjoyed the narration on the video.

Well, I found out (the hard way) that I needed to clean & clean & clean first. I tried car wash soap, then paint thinner, then car wash soap again. AND scrubbed it while cleaning. Seemed to help. Just don't sneeze while painting, he he.

I hope that your carwash soap doesn't contain any wax.....like mine does.

Just bought a '75 Trillium (1300, I guess). The sticker on the inside of the closet door is gone, but the previous owner has the VIN on his title as: 132203620 and it is a front 1/4 bath (potty closet).

I haven't had time to take my own yet as we're still getting her cleaned up, but here's one after we got home from picking it up!

More Pictures
Thanks Lauren. I have downloaded most of the pictures from the Flicker site.
A couple of observations. Recently your trailer had a date of manufacture sticker, (the dark spot above your regulator). It is also missing the data sheet that would have been on the inside of your closet door.
The heater has been changed. It looks like a catalytic heater has been installed. Behind that would be a lot of space. The original furnace vent is still installed.
