Hi Dave
After 4 or 5 years of looking around, I finally put a downpayment for the purchase of a 5500. It's a 1981, Deluxe model (Hot water heater, shower, larger fridge, etc). I don't have the trailer yet as the transaction is not complete, but I can tell you the serial number is 55-3320104. Photos will follow!!

A trillium at an auction last weekend in Owen Sound Ontario. 13-2203833
First 3 pictures in this gallery include build sheet. Not sure if that's the right way to post.

Now that my Trillium 1300 is just days away from completion and about a week away from our first camping trip in it, I finally remembered to post this.

I will post pictures and full details of the 'overhaul' that has taken place in the last 7 months.

Stefan, I noticed a hand written Mar 77 on the top of your data sheet. Your serial number seems to indicate a manufacture date of 1975. What does your registration say?

The whole reason I started this thread is that I purchased a Trillium that was registered as a 1979, but turned out to be a 1972.
You are correct, it doesn't matter. Trillium would make trailers a year before they sold. yours may have been made in 1975, but sold in 1976.
Truth is, even after more then 100 serial numbers, I still can't be sure.

Roy, That would make your Trillium 4500 the 170 th 4500 ever built. You will be near the beginning of the 4500 list.
Could I impose on you to post some pictures? We love pictures. I have tried to link each serial number to pictures.

Sorry for the sideways picture, it wasn't like that in my photo library? I thought it was an early model with the "170" which I thought must be the sequential production number much like cars. I also noticed #163 is in B.C. and here 7 trailers later and mine is in Nova Scotia with the original selling RV dealer sticker on the back....kinda cool! I guess they were scattered all over and not shipped in bulk to certain areas.

I am fairly sure that they were made to spec. Lots of customization on some of them.
Your trailer is a bit of a mystery. The blue stripe was usually 1978 and later. Actually, your blue is kinda light. What kind of kitchen do you have?:

Trillium S/Ns
Dave,
As far as I can tell, there is NO S/N on my Trillium.
Besides the title, this is the only thing affixed to the unit:

Good thing I took this picture because the sticker didn't last long out in the weather, and is now gone.
Since then, the reccommended tire pressure was upped to 50psi
I have not found anything stamped on the frame. I think that my unit was #3 made.
