Thank you very much Diane!
A few observations:
- The cupboard doors have been replaced. They look much better then the stock particle board with mac-tack.
- The lights above the dinette have been replaced. But only at the rear. Originally there would have been lights on the side shelves as well, (is that small circle on the curb side a light?)
- The back rest/upper bunk of the gaucho is missing. I have done some drawings, if you want to replace it:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...tml#post699829
- The fridge is not original
- The T-Molding is getting a bit wavy. It needs to be boiled. Yah, I know it sounds crazy, but it just snaps into a socket strip that is glued to the fibreglass. Pull it off, put it in boiling water and then lay it out to cool. It will cool flat. Then reinstall it.
What is below the kitchen cupboard?
What does the outside curb side of the trailer look like? Was there a furnace at one time?

Hi David,
The previous owner replaced the cabinet and closet doors. He also rewired and installed LED light fixtures and updated the plugs. I have the whole upper bunk. I decided I wasn't going to use it so I detached the board, removed it and currently the cushion is over on the other side on the bed/fold down table (my son didn't fit on the bottom bunk with it still there). I forgot to put it back on the couch before taking the photo. Previous owner installed one LED puck light on the upper right shelf above the fold down table area. The owners manual for the fridge indicates it was purchased and installed in 2013. Electrical system has a new Deep cycle AGM battery and a new WFCO power converter and is set up so I can easily hook up a solar panel from the outside. The axle was replaced within the last 3 years with new electric brakes.
My projects will be straightening out the T-Molding and I'd like to polish up all the aluminum window frames inside and out.
There was a furnace below the sink but that was removed by the 2nd owner, I'm the 4th owner. That area is now a nice cabinet to put in pots and pans. I'll take a photo from the other side.
The fact that all the major work has been done was appealing to me as I don't have the time to do it, just enjoy it! I'm very happy with it!

Also, when I travel alone I think I will convert that couch to a dinette. I've got two cushions that should work for the seats and I think I've found a folding table that is the right size. When I come to the rally I'll bring everything.

Adding our 75 13 ft trillium number
Hi,
We now have a 75, 13 foot trillium. it's number is: 13-1104479
We are just now starting to fix it up. It doesn't have the original furnace or refrigerator. We are looking into adding both....but need more info and that's for another thread.

New Trillium 4500 owner...
I had the pleasure today of finally finding my Fiberglass Trailer, after many years of searching, and losing out on several opportunities, either by timing, location or price...
I finally came across a 1981 Trillium 4500, that has been stored in a garage for what the current owner believes to be around 12 -13 years.
He says it may be one of the last off the line?
Other than the front left corner hitting a branch, which has been fiber-glassed on the inside and now solid, the exterior needs the same, which I will do,
as the remainder of the trailer is in good condition, and I am looking forward
to updating and personalizing her.
Please add me to the Trillium list, serial # 45-1111714
Thanks, Ian

Hi, David and fellow Trilliumites, I am new to this forum. We have owned a 1979 Trillium 4500 for the last 20 years that we are getting ready to sell. It is serial number 45-1111545. It is mostly original except for some newly rebuilt running gear and everything still works. Here are some pictures:
I am sorry about the sideways pictures, they were copied upright and I don't know how to rotate them here.
The trailer has a gaucho front bunk which I removed but still have all the pieces to it. The hand pump stopped working (needs new seals) so the water tank is drained, but the plumbing is intact. There is a porta-potty (never used) in the hatch designed for it by the door. I added another cross member and a 2" receiver to the rear bumper. The door knob, the light over the sink, the thermostat for the furnace, and the propane regulator have been replaced.
The furnace, stove, and refrigerator all work with no gas leaks, and the reefer also works on 12v and 120v. All the lights work. Over all, it is in really good shape for a 40 year old trailer.
It has 500 miles on new hubs, bearings, brakes, drums, and backing plates. The torsion bars and tires are in good shape. It has a new 2" coupler and safety chains. The lights all work and the battery charges. It is extremely road worthy.
Let me know if you want detailed photographs of anything.

Just wanted to add my newly acquired Trillium 1300 to the list.
My sn is 13-1106034. It's a front bath layout, the title says it's a '79.
Is there an easy way to see the updated list? Can it be stickied or does it have its own thread? I can't find it when I'm searching.

The link you referred to is likely the last time Dave posted one. He historically updates them in this thread. But he has not been around for a while, which is unusual.
His profile says: Last Activity: 02-28-2019 12:56 AM
He has not responded to my emails/calls this year, I am starting to wonder and get concerned if everything is OK on his end.

Roy, I hope you got my text. I have been very busy lately. I have a job that I love, but it is very demanding. The rest of my available time has been given to my rather large family. The youngest child is now 12 his older sister, (15) now has a boyfriend and active social life. She had me take her and her friends camping at Crimson Lake this summer. Also, six of us went out to Vancouver to attend the graduation of another daughter, (21). Her twin is taking nursing at university. My oldest, (24) moved out a couple of years ago, but came to Vancouver with us.
I have copied the serial number lists and will be working on them for another update.

I keep finding new serial numbers by cruzing this site:
https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...lbums2096.html
Early serial number, but after Trillium put opening windows on each end. What I find interesting is that the frame on this trailer has a bend at the axle, instead of welding two 2x3 tubes on top of each other. The thing is, the fibreglass is fitted to this bend. How many molds did Trillium use?

Trillium
I have read and reread most of this site and others and have learned a lot about our Trillium. I started a list of maintenance and repairs, they range from taking out two layers of floors(from P.O.), removed and replaced the entire propane system and many projects in between. We completed 29 Maintenance/repairs this this season and have a larger list for next year. COVID, a full time job and raising a family made it for a busy season but we still had fun completing repairs and maintenance and managed to go camping twice. Our Trillium is in the serial number list as a referral and I would like to up date the information and photos if this possible? Thanks

Always Room for More
Robert, Feel free to add pictures to either this thread, or probably better, to your trailer registry or an album. The last two are done from your profile page. I just need the serial number, but a picture of the data sheet is ideal. That and as many pictures as you want to post.
Note: I am way over due for an update on the list.

Trillium sleeps 6
Thanks David I will post some photos soon. The P,O removed the information sheet and painted the doors so I only have what is in the referral in your list 13-1106017. On a different note I found an ad on kijiji in Ontario for Trillium 1300 that sleeps 6. The ad says it’s from the factory I never heard of this before have you?

Yes,
Mostly I have seen this option on 4500's. In fact, I have the parts for this option, on a 4500, that Freddo411 gave me: https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...411-29794.html. From this document in the document center: https://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/...do=file&id=168

David, any chance you could post pictures of the rear retractable bed including the mechanism? I have to say I am very intrigued by the mechanics.
