Thanks Tom. Looks like I have your serial number slightly out of order. Do you have any pictures of the trailer?

No outside light? I am surprised that was an option. You appear to have a forced air furnace. I am assuming it is factory. Your closet likely looks like this:

Mine doesn't have an outside light, nor wiring.

Dave, my Trillium 4500 has Serial # 45-1100181, built in 1977 I believe and has a front dinette set-up. I'll get you photos asap...

Michael, That would be a rare Trillium indeed! Yours would be the earliest front dinette on the list. Do you think it is factory?

Dave, I posted a few photos of #4500 - 181 on my profile page here. One is of the forward dinette area so you can judge if it's a standard build or not.

Michael, that is a very well done dinette, but I don't think it is factory. There doesn't seem to be any way to make your dinette into a bed. It is possible that in 1977, they had a different mold. The factory front dinette, that I am used to, looks like this:

Well that's interesting. Mine seems to be missing the moulding under the window and the insets in the seats for dropping the table to a bed, otherwise it's very similar. I must say the quality of the fiberglass, doors and hardware match the rest of the interior fittings. The stove section is not extended on mine either, unlike the photo. The table in mine rests on two vertical tubes which fit in slots under the window, perhaps because the moulding is missing and they needed to work some other method. I have never tried fitting it up as a cot, but it might be possible. Thanks for the comments!

The fridge extension is on all 1978, and later 4500's.

Hello I want to add my serial 1976 Trillium serial# 1104007 to the list . mine has the rear bed front bed/bunk layout. It is original without any furnace installed. The number is stamped on the top of the tongue on the left rail near the hitch VIN 1104007. I have no idea if this is factory or not. There are some stickers on the curb side near the door but they are weathered and unreadable. One may be a CSA lable. I removed many layers of paint to see this stamped number on the frame. I have no sticker on the closet door anymore. Changed door? Don't know! I wonder if someone who worked at the factory can shed some light on the issue of serial numbers? Be nice to know !

Duane, I also need pictures. Please post as many as you can. I am going to assume that your serial number is 13-1104007. Do you have a data sheet on the inside of your closet door? The serial number is on the top right. That serial number kinda puts you in 1975 territory, but lots of noise in that section of the list too. Thanks for the data.

Trillium serial numbers

Hi Dave:
To answer your question I have no sticker of any kind inside the trailer or on the closet door itself. The trailer was purchased in Nova Scotia last fall and I used the info on the registration papers to transfer ownership. I will try and post some pics of the serial # soon. I'm away for about a week so and can't do this now. I'm puzzled as to why most owners only have a number on the sticker inside. That is not a very permanent identification for a vehicle. ( removable door) perhaps one of the previous owners stamped the number on the frame of mine I'm not sure. My old Sprite trailer made in England, had the serial number stamped on the frame rail. As a side note: If anyone is stopped by police and they can't find a serial number. The trailer may be impounded until the whole matter is resolved. What a pain in the "A--" that would be.
