Server Up Grade

During our server upgrade this weekend, a few photos got lost in the transition. We transfered 20GB of data and tried to time it so there would be very little lost.

It turned out the hits and traffic last night was so high it overloaded the server again. That is why I had to buy a larger dedicated server. We have been having over 5,000,000 hits a month and much of it comes at peak times.

So I decided to go to a dedicated server, double the memory, and upgrade all the security I can.

Thanks. I actually enjoy this group and feel bad when I don’t have enough resources available for it to run smoothly.

My goal is to make the software, hosting a non issue.

Within the next couple of days, I will be doubling the Memory so (hopefully) the server can handle the peak loads and not become unstable and crash. So if you see “Server Not Found” in the next couple of days, it will be a good thing this time.

Server response problems are so rare on FiberglassRV that I would consider it a non-issue, even if it were a paid service. Of course, better is always... well, better.

Sniff..The server doesn't remember me anymore...

I mean, I have to log on all the time now, sometimes more than once a day. Clicking the "remember me" box doesn't do anything.

Oh well...One day you're the apple of their eye...the next it's "Remind me who you are again...."

Sorry about that. It most likely is your computer has set the cookie and it has become corrupted. Just delete the cookies so that it can be reset.

New server fixed original albums issue for me; but deleting cookies and starting again has not resolved the requirement to log in everytime.
