This is our Bob (the) Cat and Jack the Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot. Believe it or not Bob is pretty respectful of the bird. As are ALL of us.

Charlie is a 3 or 4 y.o. Fox Terrier (Pound dog... we're unsure.)
Here he demonstrates his take on the saw, "It takes 49 muscles to frown, it takes 19 to smile, but it doesn't take any at all to just sit there with a dumb look on your face."

My other little stinkers include Merlin, 4 yr old Australian Shepherd, and Obi Wan (about same age), a recent adoption. He used to be a farm dog, but now has a taste for the sweet life and turned into a couch potato.

The feline squad refuses to be lumped in the 'little stinkers' group, but they're part of the menagerie, so here they are:
Pepper and Spice, siblings adopted after semi-wild mom cat left them under a porch. (It was their idea to pose in the empty cage...and no, it was empty before they got there!)
Another pair of siblings (?) abandoned as kittens at a local park two years ago, are Princess Tiger Lilly (seated in the center of a twig wreath she thinks is her throne) and in the background, her brother, Smudge the Pudge, who has a blue and a gold eye.
Not pictured are: Legs and Millie, chickens adopted from the pound a couple of years ago, and who occasionally give us an egg or two when they feel like it.

Hello,
We have a Castahoula (Louisana State Dog) Leopard Cur. She is famous as a published writer as she wrote the daily accounts of our travels last summer while we were on the road after picking up our Casita. Her latest topic is her love interest in Outback...which can be found at http://www.casitaclub.com/forums/ind...showtopic=5239
Catahoulas are like having a 60 pound Jack Russell Male on steriods...full of go, go and some more go. A Navajo sheep herder in Monument Valley wanted to buy Sally from us as the Navajo's use Catahoulas and Austraian sheep dogs to herd sheep.
Great dog! Her picture is also on the thread above.

I have a bit of a different mascot (pet) that goes with my trailer. There's a number of quite good qualities about Kerby. He don't poop on the ground and require cleaning up after. He don't eat much. When you tell him to stay he'll stay forever, but that's the ony command he'll follow. He don't bark, meow, bite, or scratch.

Here's Kerby in his favroite position, sitting on the back of the Scamp goucho. He likes to sit there and watch the world go by. He's also wearing his favorite shirt. The one with the Mountain Egg logo on it.

This is Drifter, our 15-year old domestic short hair that I raised from birth. He is blind and has a history of urinary troubles, but with good prescription cat food and an occasional shrimp, he's continuing through life undaunted! We will be attempting to take him with us when we begin traveling in the '84 Scamp this fall - should prove VERY interesting for all of us! Any suggestions from members who've achieved this feline feat would be GREATLY appreciated~Lynne

This is really bizarre, but we also have a "Bobcat" (formally Roberta The Cat, name inspired by both the wild feline and the skid-loaders very commonly used in construction in this area), and she looks just like Karen's Bob (the) Cat (same colour pattern and body proportions). Lots of cats look alike, but we also have two Amazon parrots (although not blue-fronted). The parrots only need one opportunity to train any other animal (including people) to be respectful; get bit once and you'll understand what I mean.
Neither Bob nor the parrots travel with us in the trailer; so far, only an older cat has joined us.
