Well, the GOOD part about losing all the posts is..
we get to brag again about stuff we brag about all the time! (And there is NO proof we ever did!)
OK.. time to see the kitties, doggies, rats, packyderms and other critters in our lives.
I have 2 beagles. One elderly female named Kitty. (This is a long story.. short version, when I called the cat, the dog came...) She is 13 years old.
Anyway, here is a pic I did just the other day. She has her bear, and I haven't a clue how she got it to hug her like that.

THIS little Stinker is my overly rambunxious male, a true puppy compared to the other. His name is Sticky, but, because he is a little mischief, he often gets called Stinky.
He is 5 years old.

Last July we had a Pet Gift Exchange at the Ebay Animal Board. It was kinda like a Secret Santa. Well Oscar and Jake had a wonderful time with all the toys and cookies that were sent to them. Unfortunately a few of thier toys had premature ailments caused by uh...Rough Housing

Here are our two wild women, our long lived companions that we just lost within the past three months. Zina was 15, and Snooks 14. Funny, really, that their deaths came so close to each other. (Snooks, the fuzzy one, had cancer; we lost her the night after Hurricane Katrina. Zina was with us until about 3 weeks ago.) This pic is one I posted a couple years ago....

And here's our new girl, Mavis. She's a small-ish coon hound. She came to live with us this summer.

Here's a collage of our current critters. They are all rescued from bad or unwanted situations. We have cut down on the number of animal family members over the years and are not taking in any more. All our barnyard critters (llamas, angora goats, chickens and peacock) are gone and a rat and two cats have died of old age over the last year.
I brought the "big baby," who is laying on my lap, home on two planes when he was three weeks old. He was dying from a tumor in his side and the airlines (Horizon Air) felt so sorry for him that they let me carry him on my lap the whole way.

Okay, I'll bite...
This is Maggie, one of our English Bulldogs, in her favorite resting position. Unfortunately Bulldogs don't make great camper companions (about the most sedate dogs you can own but they don't tolerate temperature extremes real well). However they are still one of my favorite breeds.
