The Margerita Casita at Fort Ross State Historical Park on the Sonoma County coast. New to us this year, the poor trailer has to work for a living.

Trailer: 1976 Tripple E Surfside

Here is our 1976 Tripple-E SurfSide
We did it to match our 1952 Ford P/U

I did a complete ground up restoration.
& did the inside to a coca cola diner theme,
and also tinted all the glass.

There,s way too much to list on all the customizing we did,
but we sure enjoy taking her out Camping, and to old car shows when we have the time.
We went with 14" tires, and matched everything as close to the truck as possible.

Notice the chrome dual exhaust on the trailer,s rear bumper LOL

The mural on the front is of the 2 trucks we own(1946-1952 Ford P/U,s).
I just put it in my shop last week again,
to do yet more improvements.
We attend the Boleramas here in Ontario every year,
so if anyone here has been there
you have met us.
We are going to go on a Holiday the summer of 2009 to New Brunswick/Nova Scotia/and P.E.I with both the "52" and the trailer.

I hope I attached the pic properly.
Happy Trails folks.

Trailer: 2004 Casita Freedom Deluxe
Posts: 50
About three years ago I caught the fiberglass trailer bug.It started with a 1974 Boler which I spent countless hours redoing almost everything. We spent 33 nights in Bailey Boler including a trip to the Oregon gathering. That's where we were introduced to the Casita. The bug bite even harder and we upgraded 30 years to a 2004 Casita with all the comforts of home . This summer we spent total 30 nights, most of it on a 4000 mile trek to Arizona which we totally enjoyed.I must say the amount of comments from people along the way was amazing. Looking forward to next year with many more enjoyable nights in our fiberglass egg.

Here's my Toyota and Burro in western Oklahoma. The one with the trees was my campsite at Red Rock Canyon SP. The others were taken at Glass Mountain SP (sometimes spelled Gloss Mountain). It seems that the cartographer way back when had a British accent so now it gets spelled either way.

we have checked out a number of other trailers since we bought this one---our 2004 outback by trillium---and despite seeing some beautiful rigs, we do not regret, at all, buying this one! i have had camping fever since we got it and it is stronger each and every year!

Hi from Winnipeg. I will be buying and cleaning up this trailer in about a week from a co-worker, I believe it is around a 73 or 74 Ventura about 12 1/2 feet long

Hi Jim,

I couldn't get that link to work, but this one does. You have a lot of clever mods!

A recent picture of our rig at Deadhorse State Park in Cottonwood, Arizona. Nice park and the views from the main campground up the hill are fantastic.

well here is a pic of my boler, we've nicknamed the silver speck. it's a 1973 canadian built, and it's been thoroughly modified inside. I'm going to take more pics once i get it cleaned out and revived from hibernation, but it's got a queen size bed.....(little teaser)

my tow vehicle in this picture is a 1967 Bolens Tractor.

Here's one of our favorite pics of Orion, our 2009 Oliver Legacy Elite - taken at the Flaming Gorge in Wyoming last August. We've been traveling full time in our little trailer since we picked it up in July 2008 - and absolutely loving it.
