Brought the Captain home ..

Took a few minutes and pressure washed it. Long way to go but it cleaned up not too bad. Lots of spider cracks, and even some full on holes.

Anyway. It is what it is.

Has anyone towed a 5th wheel Scamp with a newer (2020/2021) Ford F150? Our Nissan Frontier just died and we were looking at the F150's and they all seem to be lifted much higher than our Frontier, meaning its almost impossible to work with our hitch. It seems the only possible solution is another Frontier but we were hoping for much more interior room.

Can't you just get a new hitch bar that will lower the ball to where you need it?
Or am I missing something here?

Showing you the relatively new paint & decal job on my 1972 Compact Jr. which I've had over 10 years now. You may recall my brother fixes it some every year. His hobby is scale creative modeling in plastic so he knows decals! & was kind enough to apply these that I garnered (& in some cases, had made) from the internet. Thanks to my Dash Point FGRV friends for encouraging me to try decals!Click image for larger version

Honk If Parts Fall Off

Yes, the original Honk If Parts Fall Off bumper sticker got covered up by the paint, but it was so popular I had someone on the internet re-create one for this new iteration! Because I can't figure out how to change my avitar on this new FGRV site, the original is still featured on my avitar

One friend commented with the original red and original yellow Compact Jr. colors, the new paint job made Jr. look like a Taco Truck, thus the decal above the other rear light. But woe to me, when I went camping with kids, they came to my trailer and demanded to order tacos!

New Addition!

There’s nothing more exciting than unpacking your new old trailer and unearthing some of it’s back story. We already own a Trillium 4500 and have been restoring it. Last night we brought home a ‘73 Trillium 1300. I’ve been clearing it out this morning and would like to introduce her. The ownership states that she’s green which clearly she isn’t. I think that it must have been professionally painted at some point. I’m also curious (and a little on the fence) about the colour on the inside. It’s growing in me though.. I think that the fridge is original. The best finding though was no signs of any moisture.
