I don't know if I should feel sorry for you having to mow the lawn yet again. My mower's still in the basement, don't need it for the snow on the ground yet again tonight, mind you only an inch or so, not like the foot we got last year on Apr.24.

Someone mentioned that Toronto is south of Minneapolis, doesn't matter this year, we're just northwest of TO, don't believe my profile - we are moving to Manitoba, but not until mosquito season, that is if there is one this year, there's still lots of snow left there to melt and fill the Red River to overflowing! (We just bought a house on the Red or should I say IN the Red!

It must have stopped just over the Minnesota line because they got 3" 10 miles north of us in Burr Oak which is 2 miles south of the border.

We drove up to Narrow Hills Provincial Park (northern Sk) on Tuesday planning to take our new inflatable Kayak out for a trial 'paddle about'. We discovered when we got there that the lake was still frozen!

I managed to find some prairie crocuses to brighten up my camera's lens. These were actually in the boreal forest, in a sunny spot.

Everything here is out and blooming, supposed to be below freezing the next 3 nights. Had this happen last year, lost most of the apple crop. I spent a good part of last spring moving fruit trees at the nursery- out in the morning, in at night.

I see you are looking for a unit. Check Craigslist for Fargo ND. I saw one listed.

Thanks Gene for the tip but unfortunately won't be in a position to buy until later this year. We are trying to sell our home near Toronto, no luck yet, and we've got a leak in the basement of our new home in Emerson!

My wife called her mom for Mother's Day today, and learned that it was snowing at her house in mid-Michigan. May 12 snow, unreal!

38F this morning, supposed to go to 30 or lower tonight. Not completely unheard of, but not wanted, either! Gonna pull the row covers over the more tender plants this afternoon.

Was waxing the car yesterday, the wind came up and things started hitting the car and me- I thought it was the maple flowers (my truck was covered about 2" deep in them)- it was snow! Only lasted about 30 seconds, but it was weird, since it was around 50 degrees.
