I'm off on a trip to Northern Wi. Stopped at Bemidji, Mn. Royal Oaks RV park. Proprietor is one of us!!! She had a recently acquired 19' Scamp. Didn't know about FiberglassRV.com. She does now! Her unit needs a shine. Told her about Poliglow & Red Max.

We rarely see other fiberglass campers, but in the past two weeks there have been a quite few! On July 26 a 16' Casita was heading across the bridge from Stillwater MN to Wisconsin. Then on July 28th camping at Mineral Lake in the North Wisconsin woods another 16' Casita pulled by a white Jimmy across from our camp site. My husband invited Guy (his name) over to our camp fire and we learned that he lived in Ill., was heading to the west coast, and wasn't returning home until Sept!. We were more than a little envious since we had to return to work that Monday. I have seen several campers traveling west out of Taylors Falls MN while on my way home from work: yet another 16' Casita, a 13' Scamp, and just yesterday I was thrilled to see a 16' Argosy! I want to go camping again!

Drove from Fairmont hot springs to calgary today, and saw a whole bunch of fiberglass trailers headed the opposite way. From Fairmont to Radium, saw four! First, a large bigfoot, then an white top/orange bottom boler, then a white trillium, then another bigfoot! Quite a few in such a short distance. Also, saw a surf side on highway 1 near Banff, and when I gassed up in Canmore, there was a beige with orange stripes boler being pulled by a bettle. Pretty cool!

Today, Aug. 6th, travelling south on Lakeshore Rd, Lambton Shores, Ontario, a very colourful Boler. It had pictures all over it and I was too surprised trying to discern the pictures to look at the tow.

Scamp 16 still parked in Monticello, Mn - for about a month now. Never see anyone around.
If wanting a nice place to camp close to Minneapolis, right off highway 94 try River Terrace Park in Monticello, right on the Mississippi river. It is a nice quiet park. It is close to the cities, and right on the river. Good for tubing, fishing, boating, etc. We are seasonal campers there. Come see us if you are there. We are the ones with the little Maltese on site 61.

Aha! Saw two FGRV's this a.m., August 8, on highway 299 between Weaverville and Arcata, California. One may have been a 16' Casita, coldn't see any name on it and the other must have been a Boler as it was a pale green on the bottom with a white top. Both were headed east toward Redding, CA. They came through in a stream of traffic at a construction site. Happy trails everyone. Marg in NW CA

Michele and I are visiting our daughter in Germany. We drove along the Rhine to visit a castle, and HAD to stop in one of the campgrounds for a look-see. FIRST rig... an Eriba. NICE place, lots of rigs. GENERALLY smaller than home. LOTS and LOTS of Netherlanders along the Rhine. Probably 75-80% of campground was NL on the license plate.

I think it is named "loose caboose". We spotted it just south of Eugene Oregon. It turned off - maybe heading for the ocean. So sweet!

Scamps scampering
29th. July, in Skowhegan, Maine, 13ft. Scamp, westbound on Hwy 2, at the intersection of Hwy 201.
Saw another 13 footer westbound for Deer Lake, NL, Can. last Tuesday.
I waved but did not get one back.....
