We saw a Casita on on I-5 heading south on September 6 near Salem and then in Salem in a front yard was a well kept older unnamed coffee colored fiberglass trailer. Very cute.

Yesterday, 9-9-06, while waiting my turn to go westbound on Hiway 138 near Whritewood, Ca...just above Mormon Rocks.
A longer Casista going eastbound towards the 15, tugged by a very pretty silver class B. Solo male, I think, with a ball cap. Didn't see anyone in the passenger seat.
I was the red Jeep Liberty with the small woman snoring out the drivers window. I had already been idling for 1/2 an hour.

13 foot Scamp in Decorah, IA. Hi, Rykers! We were finishing lunch with the folks in Decorah at the Pizza Ranch when we saw you come down College Drive, back from Lanesboro! Waved like crazy but you were too far away, and we were in the back seat of the in-laws Chevy. Our Burro was parked up at Vennahejm.
Great time, wasn't it?

Saw this leaving Long point Provincial Park at noon today, headed towards Port Burwell. Liked the big side window so I passed him so as to get this shot.

At exit 234 on I-5 we were southbound and spotted a newer 16 foot scamp heading north. We waved but doubt they saw us.

Spotted a Casita with a dually tug on US 280 and Co. Rd. 97 in Opelika, Alabama at 9:30 a.m. today. Maybe they are coming into town for the Auburn-LSU football game tomorrow!

Kurt????
A lifted longer Casita tugged by a White Tundra with Cap, 91 freeway westbound on Friday 9-24 just west of the icky 91/215/60 interchange (Hell is what we calls it here) at about 3:45 PM.
And another, a Casita, stopped in traffic on the Sierra overpass near Lytle Creek, Ca. on the 15 southbound, yesterday, 9-23. I couldn't see the tug, Fred may have, at around noonish. (Timing may be wrong, but close anyway.

Gina,
Sorry to disappoint, but wasn't us. I have a friend in Forest Falls who has copied "Nuestra Casita" even down to the tongue box, but he tows with a high-powered, much modified Jeep.
Please chime in if that was you and your rig! We enjoy comparing!

We went over the mountain and camped near Camp Sherman Oregon. On the way over Friday evening a 16' Casita going west.
As we were leaving spotted another Casita at the RV Park across the river from the Camp Sherman Store.
On the way home, heading west on hwy 20 and 22.
Met another Casita.
Met what I thing was a Boler.
Spotted a Scamp 5th wheel at the store in Detroit Oregon.
Met another Casita.

Today about 3 p.m. exiting off I-90 onto Front Street Issaquah, we spotted a white GMC van pulling a Beachcomber, I think. I checked out the album here on the forum and that sure is what it looked like to me. The van had British Columbia plates and a cute little doggie with his head out the passenger window.

Sunday, Sept 24 - 16' Scamp and Dodge P/U at rest stop on Hwy 64 in Plymouth, NC. Heading east to the Outer Banks maybe?
Also ran into two more Scamps, 13 & 16, camped at the NPS Frisco campground on the OBX. Got a chance to meet these folks though, both couples from VA, one from Roanoke and the other from Va Beach - nice folks. They confused at least one of the rangers though. He said he thought each time it was my wife and I as we're usually the only Scamp owners who camp there.
