We just returned from a long vacation starting in north Georgia and going to Washington and back. On the first day of our trip we spotted our first
Casita going East on I-24 just before Chattanooga. We had barely gotten onto I-24 going west. Thils was on September 1.
On September 5th we spotted two Tabs or Tear-drop campers going East in Wyoming. One was yellow and silver and the other was red and white, neat little things.
The next Casita was seen about 16 miles East of Rawlins, Wyoming on September 5. It was going East and we were going West and we met at the 250 mile marker.
While at the Rock Springs, Wyoming KOA a nice long
Bigfoot came in to set up. We were near the office so could see everybody coming in. This was on September 5.
We passed a Scamp 5th wheel going east about 40 miles from Mt. Home, Idaho on September 6.
And on September 7th, we sae a truck pulling either a pumpkin colored Scamp or a
Burro. I'm not that sure of them at a distance. This was in Baker City, Oregon and it was headed East.
The third Casita we met saw us too and flashed their
lights. This was at Prosser, Washington on September 18 on I-82 neaar the 80 mile marker. We were in the dark green Honda Odyssey and they were towing with a silver one. This was near the Yakima area.
Number four was an older Casita and passed up near the Powder River sign just south of LeGrande, Oregon on I-84. This was on September 19.
We saw Casita number 5 being towed by a grey-brown SUV near Burley, Idaho around the 204 mile marker. This was about 3:50pm on the 19th of September also and on I-84 south. They were going north.
The next Casita was near Farmington, New Mexico and was towed by a white custom van. They were going north on Highway 550 at about 10:20am on September 22.
The seventh Casita we spotted was on September 22 about noon on Highway 550 between Cuba and Regina, New Mexico. It was being towed by a black SUV.
Wish we could have had the time to stop and chat with all of you but it was good to know there were that many on the roads we traveled.
