We went out to Jasper AB from Edmonton on Sunday. We saw about 6 Bigfoots, 1 Escape, what I think was a Surfside and a Trillium. All that on the way out to Jasper! We stayed at the Jasper Gates Rv Park and the guy behind the desk came racing out to look at our Casita and he had just bought a Love Bug but had not seen it yet. I told him to check out this site. Had a few people check out the Casita. Did not see any FG ones on the way back.

Tril 5500
13 AUG 2014, HWY #101 between Middle Sackville and Newport Corner.
Trillium 5500 with NS plates. I had no idea there were any in the province!
Made me quite sentimental. I should have been on the road with my 4500.....

I'm in Dartmouth and there's a Trillium just up the road from me. I don't know what model though. I wonder if it was that one going on a trip somewhere.

Saw 3 fiberglassers all headed South today on Hwy 101 between Long Beach, Washington and South Bend:
2 Casistas
1 Escape 5.0
We waved at all, but don't know that they recognized us...may not even be on FiberglassRv as many we have met and talked to do not know about it.
Anyway...if you recall a Burgundy SUV with 2 lime Kayaks on top towing a 16' Scamp...that was us.
We were on our way to Twin Harbors State Park.

Not FG but would have been fun...
Makes one think of the movie the Long Trailer.
Would have been fun to have been towing the 13 ft. when I was behind this one on I-96 West bound between Brighton and Lansing Mich. Just for a little contrast.
Wonder if it was a "park trailer" heading for the west side of the state.

My wife Marilyn came back excited from her shopping trip Sunday night (we're visiting our son in Barboursville, VA). She spotted a Scamp with WA plates Northbound on hwy 29 North of Charlottesville, VA, being pulled by a Jeep with VA plates. Perhaps someone returning home from picking up a new to them Scamp? If so, happy camping!

Saw a rather new looking Casita today heading south on the Cabot Trail, west side just north of Cheticamp. TV was a ford van I think. I was wandering along a beautiful beach so my mind was elsewhere......

Saw an Oxygen just north of Coupeville on SR20 just after noon today. It was blue on the bottom. Love those rolling pieces of art.

Today in Bridgewater, NS flashed on a Bigfoot truck camper. Didn't catch the truck make or plates. Looked in extreme good shape. Wouldn't want to be startled awake in the over-cab bed. Wonder if they get much roof damage that way? LOL Owners probably have the answer.

Saw an Escape 17 at Rasar State Park. Didn't see anyone around. Plus there was a very interesting pop up I couldn't ID. It looked kind of like a prototype of that fancy hard popup with all the nice windows only the popup was fabric. I'll go back and look again when it isn't dusk and hard to see.

Saw a Casita yesterday on the bridge to St. George Island, FL. Did not get to see the TV but later saw them both at the State Park. We will try and talk to the owners today.

makes no sense.....
ok, so I've got a hate on for quads... (infernal peace and quiet ruining machines...."jetskis on land" ) but that picture makes no sense at all....why not just drive the big honkin' truck to wherever it is you want to go ???? now if that little trailer had big ground clearance and the guy used the toy truck to pull the trailer to REALLY out of the way places... THAT would make sense....

Bs and Ts
Yesterday while hiking the Skyline Trail I saw a small car hauling a Boler, southbound on the Cabot Trail. I was on the trail. They were on the road, across the valley, heading down a winding 30KPH hill. Later saw and met Chris and Dominique from Stratford, ON. They use the site but have not signed on. I recommended it. Left them some levelling boards and a couple bracelets. Hopefully we will hear from them.
Saw another FGRV [Casita?] rolling toward the Canso Causeway, eastbound but I was trying to find a parking spot at Tim's so that is all I can say.
Saw an eastbound Trillium 4500 with the orange markings at the 234 KM marker on the TCH at 1230 today. I got a wave back. Thanks.
Saw another Trillium north of Middle River on the Cabot Trail as I was heading out. It is sitting in a driveway but there did not appear to be any grass growing under its feet.
I am now in Parrsboro, NS, working my way to MI for Algonac.

N. Florida sighting - Sat. 8/23
Scamp 13' with white minivan tow vehicle - both with Pennsylvania tags.
I-95 Southbound (south of St. Augustine) @ 9:15 a.m. today.
Rig was exiting@ Flagler Beach.
Record high temps forecast for today. Air conditioning in the Scamp a definite benefit for a comfortable camping weekend!
