More PacNW Glassers

Yesterday leaving Kitsap Memorial State Park we spied a Casita in the no-hookup section. It's people were not at home.

In Sequim, WA we saw a small fiver in someone's yard...don't know enough to know if it was Escape or Bigfoot but definitely not a Scamp.

Just spotted this custom Boler and 54 Mercury in Hearthstone State Park, Lake George NY. Spoke to the musician owner and ask if he was familiar with the web site Fiberglass RV. He said "I never have time to go on the #!%*# Google interweb." So I guess that's a no.
Chatted for a half hour. I love this FG family we all belong to!

I just arrived home from my visit to BC. Left home Aug 11th, drove through Mich's UP and stopped for an overnight at St Malo where I met Rick Mooyman and friends preparing for this year's Manitoba's Fiberglass and Vintage Camper Rally. At that point I had already seen 2 Scamp 5th and a Boler. But like Scouter Dave, with driving and being my own co-pilot made taking notes difficult. I drove west through Manitoba, Sask. and Alberta. Saw more FGRV's going east....Bolers, a 13' Trillium and what I think was an Outback. I started into the mountains on Saturday Aug 16th. Beautiful day and everyone was out for a drive in the mountains! I lost count of the FG campers I saw, Bolers, Trilliums, Escapes, Scamps and some I couldn't id. I did this same drive in 2007, towing my 13' Trillium and did not see one other FG camper.

I was in Keremeos on Aug 27th and met a couple and their daughter stopped for hot corn on the cob at a fruit stand. I'm sorry I have forgotten their names. Told them about FGRV which I'm sure they will look up. They had the Boler only a year and were looking forward to doing their own mods to make more theirs.

I am certainly impressed with how popular these little campers have become. And so nice to see them being taken care of and appreciated.

I saw a newer Casita at the rest stop near Sykeston, ND on Highway 52/200, yesterday, Labor Day. They were from Arizona. Spoke with the owner. They'd been on a long trip. He was familiar with FBRV but had not signed on. Recommended it.

Today in Bismarck, ND I ran across a Bigfoot pickup camper in the Best Buy parking lot. It was a 99 I believe but looked newer. Mounted on a 1T diesel pickup. Talked to the owner. He also was familiar with Fiberglassrv. Recommended he sign in and check it out again. Also on a long term trip.

We saw a Casita parked in KOA Salt Lake City on 9/1/14. Very sweet couple, Don & Clara. They will be heading to ND.

My local Fred Meyer parking lot is proving to be a gold mine for sightings. Today I saw a 19' Escape there being towed by a Ford Flex with B.C. plates.

Today I spotted a 16' Scamp just outside New Mexico in Arizona, pulling out of a gas station. The tow vehicle had a green kayak on the roof.

Two at once- going north with me, near Longview, WA, a Casita pulled by a navy SUV, and going south passing us both, an older Scamp 16?

Plus my friend ran across a Trillium somewhere in Oregon- not sure where, she had not seen one before.

I guess no one saw me going to and from Carpinteria Ca State beach on CA 101 two weeks ago and going to and from Lake Tahoe Ca. to Hayward, Ca this week end on US 80. Or going to Bolder Creek, Ca a week ago.

17 mpg towing my Scamp 16 w shower and side dinette with a metalic white 2007 Limited 3 row seating Toyota RAV 4 at highway speeds, 65+

One week of buffing and polishing and now I feel like chopped liver !!!!

I feel ya! I always check to see if anyone "sighted" me. Last week another trailer went past and he leaned out the window to peek at me but he must not have been on FGRV because I wasn't officially sighted.
People better be paying attention on Friday!!!! I shined her all up! I'll be heartbroken if nobody sees me

Camping in East Grand Forks Mn. State park right in town. There's a 17' Casita there too. Noone around at the time.
Then in G. Forks near downtown I saw a dirty16' Scamp on the Demer's Ave. Overpass. When it pours it rains!
