Ah, I'm jealous.

Looks like they spent the night in the Safeway parking lot.

That we did, tonight we’re in Deer Lodge, MT. We’ll be headed north tomorrow toward Glacier NP.

Ah, it was you!

My first owner-confirmed siting!

Have fun. With this weather you may even see some fresh snow on the mountains. Better than smoke..

I just returned from a trip to California, and as we settled into our campsite our neighbor stopped by to introduce herself - it was Gina and her fabulous Leocraft! It was so nice to meet her in person and chat fiberglass for a bit!

Saw an Oliver with red graphics headed north on Hwy 99, north of Bakersfield, CA. Although I’ve seen Olivers at a rally before, it was the first one I’ve seen on the highway. Hope you’re headed somewhere fun!

Just saw a Parkliner headed southbound on I90 near the Wisconsin Dells! First time I have seen one other than mine in this area.

Saw a Casita close to the southern terminus of the Blue Ridge Parkway maybe an hour north of Cherokee NC. I think it was 6/4. The trauma of almost riding the LilSnoozy off the pretty close to vertical roadside has pretty much s rambled what small amount of memory I have left.

traveling from the midleft coast to Utah by way of the Strawberry Music Festival, then back these past three weeks, omg, I saw a lot of fiberglass....

Strawberry, as always, had a ton of Scamps, Casitas, old restos of who knows what, and a few Escapes and Bigfoots.

Driving through Utah parks, we saw a very nicely polished Boler repeatedly one day. We saw numerous Casitas, several Scamps, and at Kodachrome Basin State Park, was another Escape 21 parked kitty-corner from us. I saw a fiberglass egg I couldn't identify that had the seam vertical (could have been an EggCamper, but had no markings and looked like an oldie that had been restored). Saw a NorthernLite all fiberglass slide-in truck camper several times over a couple days.

and, of course, this followed us *EVERYWHERE* we went...

Is the Strawberry Music Festival around Strawberry Reservoir? I spent a weekend at a cabin there back in college. Haven't been back since but I see signs anytime I'm driving to the desert.

Ah, alright, thanks David!

I'd love to. For now my days of traveling that far are over. I'm in a job I love, but it doesn't pay so great. Southern Utah is about as far I can get for vacations. I'll get back on the road for real at some point, though, and my Mom is in the Sacramento area right now, so who knows!

Saw a 13’ Scamp headed south on 99 around Tulare somewheres. Have a great trip. I was in the big flatbed tow truck heading north and the poor young tow truck driver had to endure a fiberglass trailer education!

Is there a story here, Lisa ? Enquiring minds want to know ! My Scamp 13 was towed to Casa de Fruita ( Lisa knows where that is ! ) on Sunday . Julie and I spend the weekend with a vintage group there, near Hollister, CA. As I was heading towards Fresno Sunday morning the radiator cap popped off, the truck quickly overheated and engine died. ( The head gasket may have gone first .) ! My truck was towed to Tiffany Ford in Hollister where it awaits a new engine. The flatbed truck driver was nice enough to stop at Casa de Fruita campground to drop off the trailer even though regulations forbad it once we were hooked up and on route. A friend came for my Scamp, the truck will be ready in a few days. And there was one orange boler among the vintage trailers. David from Fresno and Sonora; Scamp 13' and Compact Jr 13'.

David, I’m so sorry, that’s horrible! I’m glad you are okay! My story is nothing compared to that, but it scared me. A semi blew a tire and I hit the tread going about 70mph in my Ford Escape. It ripped out stuff underneath the car and I was stuck on the left shoulder on Hwy 99 for two hours, 85 miles from home, until the tow truck could get there. The nicest Cal Trans worker parked behind me in his truck with lights flashing and stayed the whole time until the tow arrived. He even brought me water, as it was 105 out there. The funny thing was, we gathered up a couple large black pieces of bumper and under-the-car parts and put them in the trunk, but when the collision center assessed the damage they said the parts weren’t from my car! We had a good laugh!

Just returned from a family reunion in Saskatchewan on my wife's side.
2500 klms and seen and talked to several 'glass owners.
Seen bolers and a Trill on the 3 highway. Stayed at Eagle Valley campground on the way there. It was our second time at this park as we attended a Bolerama there in 2004. Talked to a fellow in Toon Town (Saskatoon) that had pulled his Escape 5.0 5th wheel 50,000 miles in the last 9 years and a couple from Edmonton (Brian & Maureen) who were at the 50th boler celebration with their boler of 25 or so years.
A couple who came from Ontario to buy an 80s BigFoot 5th wheel sight unseen!
On the way home we stayed at Daisy Mae Campground at Fort McLeod Ab. beside a couple in a Scamp 13 from Colorado in their 80's!! on a 4 month trip to Alaska!!!
But where are the pics???
Duh

At the Jenny Brook Bluegrass Festival this past weekend, saw:

4 (or maybe 5) Casitas, including ours. One I think was an old 16'. Others all 17', one new, purchased in March, one 2007 (I think), purchased used. Didn't get any owners' names or other details.

1 Scamp 13', c. 1985, owner from Billerica, MA. Floor had rotted out from leaks; he replaced it with pressure-treated boards.

1 Trillium, pale yellow from Quebec, with slogan above rear window, "Little Green Hummingbird."

1 Escape 21, I think he said a 2016 model. I want one!

Honorable mention (not fiberglass):

1 vintage Airstream (1960s? had sloping back)

2 really small Airstreams--still being made?

3 A-frame pop-up campers. Great for towing with small cars.

Several teardrops, one looked handmade of wood; another with a fancy kitchen out back.

There must have been a thousand RVs at the festival; amazing, really, all crammed in to the utility sites; we were in an auxilliary field, boondocking.

coming home from the Golden State Star Party, southbound on I5 or I505, I was passed (slowly) by a nice clean Casita 17 pulled by a bronze(?) Toyota pickup (I think it was a Tacoma?).

There were a couple Casitas, and a few more fiberglass things at GSSP, I think one was a HappyCamper.

sunset the last night...
