No, I only WISH I was at Mammoth Lakes! I was at Mammoth Pools--western side of the Sierras. Some day I hope to be spotted though!

Hey Everyone
Saw two casitas on our road trip to Michigan one in the campground in Wapakoneta Ohio and one going south on I 65 at the Kentucky border. We are the ones with the radio painted on the side of the 13ft Scamp.

After traveling from Illinois to Rocky Mountain Ntl. Park and not seeing a single camper, a 13' Scamp pulled in to Estes Park Campground right after we finished setting up our UHaul. I went over and visited. Nice lady. She let me look. I expect we will connect again later. She wants to see our trailer.

We were out for 2 weeks with our little white boler pulled with a 99 Brown chev Malibu--and I kept track of all the fiberglass trailers we saw. We were in the southern part of BC around Osoyoos and up to the cariboo..
We saw a total of 3 trilliums,2 escapes,5 bolers and 1 casita...
So if you saw a crazy lady waving ---it was me!!!!!

3PM today, a BEAUTIFUL turquoise restored late model pick up truck towing an even MORE beautiful 13' BOLER!! Looked great
Hwy 2 South near Red Deer, got on at 67 street, and exited west on 32nd. Truck had a business sign on the wooden box rail, some sort of pest control business.

Friday morning, Highway 14 east of Edmonton while we were heading to the Prairie Egg Gathering spotted a light grey truck pulling a Surf Side heading west towards Edmonton. On our way home Sunday afternoon, we spotted the same guy, he was heading east this time, we both waved.

No longer shooting fish in a barrel...
on hiway 42 somewhere back in the beautiful forest beyond Coquille, Oregon... on a curve, a 16(?) foot Casita, going west. You slowed, I slowed.. waves were abundant..1 ish pm.
AND.. the same model Casita is in Valley of the Roque State Park (Southern Oregon) right now, a few spaces down from me. I followed you in and waited a couple cars behind you when you checked in.. but... lost track and haven't seen any "people" at it where it's camped yet. I didn't recognize you from the rally.. but.. I didn't get a REAL close look...

Today, 7-28-07, in BEAUTIFUL Bakersfield, Ca. at the Orange Grove RV park, a Casita (It's WHITE!!! ) tugged by a white Nissan Pick Up..
All closed up, just like mine, with the air going full blast. at 104 (According to my fancy Jeep computer) I don't blame either of us. Maybe I will see you before I leave.

Mike, although ours was NOT one of those rigs, we did spend the 4th/5th at the KOA in Lynden (after having shopped at that Safeway) then proceeded over to Ferndale to participate in the Whatcom County Crcuising Associations 22 annual Firecracker Rod Run on the 6th/8th. I took pics of ALL the glass eggs there and am wondering 'where' in this forum to post them (IF anyone's interested). BTW, the Trailer Goddess and I are members of the Canadian club these trailer owners are in. We have 22 members who tow eggs, and many more who just have rods, customs & classics.

Darn!!!
I was at the Lynden KOA from the 7th-9th

On July 27th, 13' Scamp pulled by a dark SUV, northbound on the Seward HWY, just north of Moose Pass. On July 29th, possibly the same rig traveling southbound on the Seward HWY, just south of Tern Lake.
On July 29th, a Casita by Trail River, southbound on the Seward HWY.
On July 29th, a green and white Boler on the Sterling HWY, eastbound near Mile 60.
We went on a camping trip near Seward, AK. The salmon are running strong in the streams and rivers, and the highways were chock-full of travelers.
