Thursday, July 26th, Camping World, Mesa, Arizona. Behind the Camping World repair shop, a cute older Casita looked as though it was awaiting service. Though no one was around, I waved to it as I drove by, glad to know that we would very soon be part of the larger fiberglass community!

Today, about 11 AM, leaving the Keystone ferry on Whidbey Island, a Casita. Forget what the TV was.

I camped with a Scamp 5th wheel at Mora Beach, WA and then the next night a Casita 17 at Salt Point County Park WA. I guess I was in a snit because I decided not to be the one to always approach...well they didn't either so I have no idea who it might be. The Scamp was from Washington and the Casita from California.

Then yesterday while driving around Crescent Lake, WA a 17 Casita came up behind me and as I pulled off at a turn out there was no honk from them either.

GOOD NEWS!!!! Lily and I were standing down by Crescent Lake and as I turn around I was startled by a Casita sitting right next to my Scamp. It was the Casteen's from Arlington, TX. Del saw me at the turnout and told Shirley that he was sure he had seen my Scamp at the Oregon Gathering. He was correct.

I forgot to mention that somewhere south of Astoria, OR I saw a Casita 17 in a lot so I pulled off to say Hi! I've forgotten their names but they are planning to come to the Lake Casita gathering in October, as they live not far away in Lompoc.

This Casita was a first for me......it was a 17 footer without a bathroom....just had a couch up front with a window over it. I didn't know Casita made a 17' without a bath. The one item that struck me odd was the A/C was in the middle beneath the couch which placed it directly behind the propane tank. I wondered about air flow.

Any way, nice couple I hope they do come to Lake Casita.

Don't see to many Scamps up this way at all, spotted a Scamp 5er Westbound, Highway 40 Quebec heading to Highway 417 Ontario onto Ottawa last night around 8:30-9PM

We do see a number of Triliums and Bolers, but the Scamp is more rare, a few weeks ago we also passed a Boler (I think) heading eastbound on Highway 401, Ontario to Highway 20 into Montreal, we both did a over the shoulder look as I was also pulling the Scamp heading west.

O.K. .....
Who's got the Scamp 5th wheel and lives on Vancouver Island??

You were 'sp tted' heading home(?) off the ferry this last Monday.

I was in the mass of hot-rodders vacating Victoria from Deuce day last weekend.

The Trailer Goddess
and I both waved/yelled and I even tooted my 'aaaaougha' horn but you were more intent in not running into the vehicle in front of you than to pay attention to us, LOL

Doug,

I didn't see the Scamp 5'er but I departed the ferry in Victoria on Monday. I saw all the hot rods waiting to get aboard.

Also, today I saw 2 Bolers heading east just east of Port Alberni about noon and then one heading west also at Port Alberni about 4:00pm. The one heading west was bright and shiney, a light green on the bottom and a creamy green on the top, cute.

Joy, if you were taking the ferry from DownTown Victoria to Port Angeles you were parked right in front of our hotel. Most of the hot-rods headed back south from Victoria were 32 Fords. We were headed back to Vancouver mainland at this point, but saw at least a half a dozen Glass Eggs on our trip first to Kamloops, then back west to Victoria!

There is a rod run to Seashelt coming up and MANY rodders with 'Eggs' go there!

While in Arizona last week I spotted a Casita (16 or 17') in front of a house in Sun City
Grand.....maybe loading or unloading from a trip. Also got a glimpse of the new Genesis trailer on a dealer's lot just off I-10 in Tucson. Won't be too long 'til my 13' scamp heads west to AZ too!

I spotted a 16' Scamp headed West on I-90 (NY Thruway) near Utica sometime around noon today. I believe it was being pulled by a white pickup.

Two recently:

Beverly Beach SP, not long after the Gathering (umm, can't remember the date) - visited with a nice Casita lady (WA plates) who was unaware of our terrific group or our fun get-togethers. I (DUH) did not have a FGRV card with me, but she made a note of the URL, so perhaps she'll be checking in;

Missoula, MT WalMart lot, this morning - visited and left a card with a Casita couple from Myrtle Beach, SC who left home last June! Not exactly full-timing, but no "be-back" date, as he put it. He said SC to OR might be a bit far for a rally, but I assured him he would find events closer to home on the website ... I LOVE those cards! Hope they join our forum too.

Take care, all - we gotta big bright rainbow out the front window right now. L 'n D

On July 30th spotted a 16 or 17 Casita going Eastbound on I-8 about an hour east of Yuma, AZ. We were going westbound in the Scamp with Red Liberty.

Unhappy

Monday, Aug 30 will pulling into Sam's Club in Pueblo, CO there was a 13' to 16'? Big Foot parked, it was around Noon or a little after. It was gone by the time I had the Ranger gassed up.

Saw a Casita in a For Sale RV lot just off I-25 going toward Woodland Park in Colorado Springs and another Big Foot for sale up in Woodland Park.

Also a Casita 13', maybe, parked in someone's drive way off Hillrise St in Las Cruces yesterday.

When we get to Aug 30th we'll have to see if Adrian's predictions come true.
If they do, I'm gonna be freaked out.....

Aug. 5th... Spotted a Casita camped near the entrance at Cape Disappointment State Park, then a bright yellow Boler around midday in the parking lot at Oswald West State Park, then a white and gray Boler with Alberta plates driving south through the picturesque town of Nehalem (I snapped a photo of you, but feel funny about posting it without your approval, so if this was you and you want to see yourself, just let me know and I'll add the photo!). The Boler was followed by an older Bigfoot, then later we saw a newish Casita headed north on 101, somewhere on the central Oregon coast.

Hello to everybody!
