Today, March 21st, at about 4:00 PM
Southbound on I-805 toward Mission Valley.
A Scamp 16' Side Dinette with Arizona plates, being towed by a Blue Chevy Avalanche.
You took the I-8 offramp that drops to the valley floor. I couldn't see if you went Eastbound or Westbound on I-8.

Spotted TODAY crosssing over Route #1 west of Chilliwack .... Looked like a new(er) Escape being towed by a white Dodge Ram. Trucks plates L Ked to be foreign but on closer inspection it was Alberta plates. Turns out it was JUST Chester n his lovely bride who had just taken posession of their spiffy new Escape from Reace's shop in the 'Wack. Lucky couple got to break it in at a very nice quiet local campground.

Chester may chime in a little later on with his thoughts on 'Escaping'. I have some pix to post later.

ENJOY, Chester n Marie, thats one sweet trailer!!!!!

Today, I was checking out the Valley of the Rogue campground in Oregon, and saw a Casita and a white TV (I noted and then forgot the make!) in one of the campsites.

On Saturday March 22, This nice 17 ft Casita was in the parking lot of the Anza Borrego Visitor Center (Southern California).
The truck and the trailer have Oregon license plates.

Here's a sighting for you:

Good Sam Highways magazine, page 70. It's a Scamp in line at an entrance station. My guess is that it has Illinois plates.

Any of you out there??? If so, where were you?? That what's the magazine asks in that segment as a contest for it's members.

13' Perris pacer with maroon stripes parked in someone's backyard with a blue house on the north side of CA 128 in Philo. Anybody know who owns this, and condition/ if it's for sale?

Spotted a 16' Scamp and Titan pickup, Utah plates, in the "A Loop" of Picacho Peak State Park near Tucson, AZ. I did not catch them at home when I walked by their campsite. (I was in loop C). Was it you??????? By the way, what a nice park and great hiking too!

I spotted an Escape 5er last Thursday at Monterey. Actually it was Ian & Paddy from BC heading home. I had gone down there to meet up with them.

Then Saturday I spotted a Scamp 5th wheel from Tennessee at Millerton Lake, CA. Again it was by design as I had a call from them that they were in the area. I swung by there on my way home after wishing Ian & Paddy a good trip as they headed north.

Well, here's a truly unplanned sighting. Lo and behold there was a Casita 17 from Washington at Millerton Lake. They stopped by and said Hi as they left on Sunday. We had a nice talk.

As I was sitting talking to my friends from Tennessee at Millerton Lake in rolled a Bigfoot. It was Bob Blakely from Arnold which is just north of where I live in Sonora. Some of you may remember Bob and his wife they have gone to the Oregon gathering and were at Lake Cahuilla last year.

Brandy,

Was that Blue stripped trailer pulled by a van with a Blue Stripe around it too. If so, it might be the Burro I saw last week at Millerton Lake here in California.

The one I saw appeared from a distance to be a Boler/Scamp but was actually a wide bodied Burro with no visuable seam on top.

I spoke with them but I doubt they frequent this site.
