July 19 we saw a Scamp on the QE2 highway between Red Deer and Edmonton. Hadn't seen a scamp before! Then in Rocky Mountain House we met a family with a 16ft Bigfoot. In our campground July 19-22 there was a trillium amd another 16ft bigfoot. At the tourist info booth in Rocky Mountain House on the 22nd we saw a Bigfoot 5th wheel from Manitoba being pulled by a small Mazda pick up.
We've never seen that many fiberglass RV's before.....or maybe we just notice them more now because we've got one!!

Today, Casita at Exit 28B, Richmond, VA at around 4 PM. Did not see the tow vehicle. We so seldom see fiberglass trailers that the excitement causes us to miss the vehicle towing it.

Here are our sightings from our trip back from Oregon (as best as I can decipher my son's notes):

July 24th:
Hwy 395, southbound
Bigfoot 5th wheel w/ dark grey Nissan Frontier tug (or so I thought - sounds like this is the same one Christi V. spotted on the 26th futher south)

July 25th:
Hwy 95, south of Radium
Casita w/ brown minivan TV

Hwy 93, east of Radium
13' boler green/white w/ dark coloured van

July 26th:
Hwy 93, North of Peyto Lake
Newer Bigfoot TT (25'?) with a white truck BC plates

Lake Louise, AB
13' beige/white Boler w/ white van TV, BC plates

Lake Louise, AB - Samson Mall
13' beige Trillium w/ white Ford truck

July 27th:
Near Rocky Mountain House, AB - Hwy 11
- 13' grey/white Boler being pulled by a grey van going westbound - you saw us too!
- 17' white Boler, TV was a white truck
- 17' Bigfoot (early 90's?) pulled by a blue truck

Near Sylvan Lake, AB - Hwy 11
A rare sighting of a Ventura westbound

We saw a Boler leaving Guelph Lake Conservation Area in Ontario today. We were camped beside our good friends who own a 13' Boler. I only saw the backside but Donna thought it had two side widows so it may have been a 17'.
Our friend told me he also saw a 16' Scamp in the grounds. We have camped this weekend for several years to attend the Hillside Music Festival. If the other trailers are members (my neighbor is not but we are working in it) it would be a lot of fun to all camp in the same area next year.
PM us and we will get together.

Saying Hey! to the fellow towing a Casita in CANNON BEACH, OR, on Friday, July 25, pulling out of the "Information Center" street, the street that has the RV parking on it. We were towing our Casita into that street as you were towing yours out.

Thanks for the parking space! and the wave and smile!

I saw a Scamp 5th wheel in the walmart parking lot here in Chehalis Wa yesterday.. it had the red scamp logo's on it..... but he said it was a deluxe model.. I got to look inside and sure enough it was! I dont know when they started putting the gold letters on unless the previous owner had put those on.
His trailer was a 1991..

Anyways had a nice chat.. told him about this site.... and the washington gathering in Sept.... Hope they will join us...

Casita, 16 foot. Mile marker 166, Interstate 64, between Lexington, VA and Beckley, WV between 10:00 and noon. We waved and saw that we were being sighted too.

Sunday afternoon, Bigfoot towed north on 525 on Whidbey Island, south of Greenbank. We were headed south so no details except I think TV was a dark truck.

U. Today .....4:11 EGGsakerly, West bound Lougheed Hwy in Maple Ridge. Gold(ish) colored suv of some sort with B.C. plates leading the way for a SCAMP.

I went 'Beep Beep' but you were too busy SAFELY negotiating your way through the maze of cars. Were you at our last meet(s)????

You were a pretty little 'Escape-r' (or would it be an Escape-e?) heading towards Port Alberni on Vancouver Island today, Friday, August 1st in the afternoon. Hope the rain stopped in time for your weekend!

Oh, and this was next to the Burro. Is this fiberglass? Gets a visitor from Boston once and a while, I understand. Hawley, MA has less than 500 people and is mostly state forest. It lies on the edge, and some would say within, the Berkshire Mountains.

This is fiberglass. It looks like mine. I have a 1969 Aalite camper. I bought it gutted and rebuilt it. I tried to research it to no avail. I had no idea what the inside looked like. This is the first i have seen one like it. Do you know the layout inside.
