Living in Reading Pa for about three years now and have never seen another egg until today 6/13/09
This Scamp had a bicycle rack on the back and was heading west on rt 12 (warren st bypass) and exited onto 11th st exit (kutztown rd) got so excited i didn't notice the tow vehicle as i was going in the opposite direction. Just wondered if it was anyone from this forum or better yet someone from this area.

Sits nice and high... must have had axle work recently? Love the cool wheels too!!

What's the "smoke stack" for?

Enjoy! Let the memories begin
Stack is for the furnace and I have no idea of the history of this camper but my 15" wheels fit nice

Friday, June 12 - Interstate 80 near MM35 - spotted a Casita 17 heading west. Tug was either gold or bronze SUV. We're sad when we're traveling sans Egg, cuz I can't flash my lights at a fellow FGRVer Somehow, a big smile and mad waving doesn't have the same effect, eh? L 'n D

Today, 1 PM, headed west on Highway 12 toward Aberdeen, a little red "fire-engine" egg. Very cute!

Cody Wyoming, on our way home we seen two Caista's, one at the KOA, unattended, and one from Colorado being towed by some kind of station wagon.

On Hwy 12 leaving 2nd Washington Gathering: What looked like a 13' Boler between Silver Creek and Salcum.
In Ocean Shores WA, on Pt Brown Blvd, a 13' Scamp.

Today about 8:15 a.m. - Interstate 80 (again) between Sparks & Lockwood, NV. We spotted a 16 ft Casita heading east, but there was too much traffic to get more than a glimpse of the tug. Lots of Eggs in motion in our neck of the woods right now. L 'n D

Saturday, June 13, about 7pm - White over gray 13' Trillium (I think) hiding among large mohos and commercial trucks in a parking lot near the docks at Victoria BC. No tug.

It sure looked lonely.

Two in Vancouver, BC today. I think both were 16' Casitas. Just caught glimpses.

4 pm northbound Granville [at] 16th - just before crossing the Granville St. Bridge into downtown.

4:30, northbound on the Oak Street Bridge (at the north end of Highway 99, which is what I-5 turns into. TV was a domestic van.

Today heading eastbound I-90 followed a boler, two tone kind of orange color. Towed by a
white pontiac minivan. You past through Issaquah.

My First Scamp spotting since I bought ours! East bound on K10 in Kansas on to 435 east. 13 footer pulled by a red Subaru. I went slow in front of you hoping you'd pass me, but you didn't take the bait and I had to get to my grad class.

Calif. Casita, in Port Townsend, pulled by a blue Sienna van, rolled down my window to say hello. They said they've had it 2 years and of course love it!

As I have mentioned before, we have seen more molded fiberglass on the Olympic Peninsula this summer than ever before!

June 28th Two Casita's leaving or just coming into Colorado Springs, Colorado. Both 17 footers.

First one was south bound I-25, south end of Colorado Springs mid afternoon. Being pulled by mid sized truck. I think it was a light to med mocha colored. I just caught a glimpse as I was trying to defend my road space from a goof ball trying to pass me on the right.

Second one, South bound I-25 just north of Colorado Springs (first and second sightings just minutes apart). Being pulled by a med colored SUV. Didn't have a chance to wave at either as I was in the horrifying driving situation known as driving thru the Springs.

I was the Casita, north bound I-25 being pulled by a very muddy dirty silver Tacoma. Hope you both had safe and fun journeys.

This morning (Monday) about 10:45 on US95A in Fernley, NV - spied a Scamp 13 like ours, following behind a nice Class "C" MH - Guest room? You turned into the grocery store parking lot and I wanted to follow to say 'hi' but we were on the way to son-in-law's doctor appt and had to pass. Bet you're on your way to Lake Lahontan for some fun. L 'n D

Today:

Southbound Interstate 15 in the Carmel Mountain Ranch area south of Escondido, CA.

a white-over-yellow Compact II (or maybe Hunter 1) being towed by a white Ford F-150 with a white fiberglass shell.

I kept sight of you all the way to the Rt 163 split, which I had to take... you kept going south on the I-15.

First, just south of Blaine, on I5, a Bigfoot for sale in a small RV lot.

Then a trailer I couldn't ID but definitely small fiberglass, more Compact-like, exiting around B'ham.

Finally a Boler, going north on 5, pulled by a red pickup.
