Friday morning , April 9 in St. Augustine, FL. A Scamp 13' being pulled by VW Beetle (silver colored) with kayak on top of the Bug. Headed eastbound at the intersection of Rt. 206 and US 1. I had also spotted same camper earlier in the week overnighting in the Walmart parking lot. BTW, our N. Florida weather was PERFECT for camping the week of April 5. Deb

Two sightings yesterday:

1. Northbound QEII highway near Olds, about 10AM, it looked like a Surfside or Beachcomber.

2. Easbound Trans Canada highway near highway 93 turnoff to Radium Hot Springs, about 11:40AM, it was a 15" Trillium Jubillee. It looked like it was lifted and sitting higher that normal.

It is nice to see these trailers out so early in the season.

saw a Scamp 13' in Big Sur Campground! i pulled in for my first night ever in my new-old Uhaul CT 13' and while at the entrance picking out a site, i look up and there is a Scamp 13' sitting right there! tugged by a PT Cruiser from Minnesota. I wanted to say hi, but the owners were off for a ride once we got unhitched and set up.

Spotted 2 Casita's within 5 minutes of each other on Hwy 50 just west of Ely, NV on Friday morning around 10am. Were you two together?

Also, spotted a Scamp on Thursday afternoon on Hwy 89 in UT headed South somewhere around Panguitch.

:-) Happy Travels!

Gina, You missed us, drat. We went through Quartzite on the 18th in the afternoon and made it to Barstow that evening.

Here are our sightings from our 5,000 mile round trip shake down cruise:

April 3 - Two tone yellow Boler? with Maple Leaf spare tire cover. 2:00 pm 3 miles East of Superior, AZ on Hwy 60.

April 3 - 13' Scamp. 5:30pm AZ (6:30NM) Near border on hwy 60 between Lordsburg and Duncan

April 4 - 16' - 17' Casita. 6:15pm, Westbound I-10 near Fort Stockton TX.

April 7 - 17' Casita. Goose Island Stat Park, TX

April 13 - Casita Westbound road to Anahuac NWR.

April 19 - 16'/17' Casita. Northbound Hwy 99 near Bakersfield. "Call Jeanne" spare tire cover.

That's all folks.... 5,000 miles, 5 eggs and no one noticed us. It is a big world.

A member sighting this afternoon in Phoenix, AZ on I-10 and Ray Road going westbound. It was Pat and Arleen and their "Yeti" Bigfoot camper. I was in the little white company truck and tooted the horn as I passed you. How about that wind today between Tucson and Phoenix....YIKES! Anyway, you have been officially spotted. Safe travels where ever you were headed to.

i am stumped ... saw this absolutely cherry trailer yesterday across the highway. it was heading south to Monterey (i was heading north).

it looked immaculate and i could not figure what it was for the life of me. the front seemed slightly angled (forward to a center point) and two windows in the front (one on each angle/side of the front). the closest thing i have ever seen was the Condo which was recently re-listed on eBay. this wasn't that one either as the colors were burgundy on the lower half and and grey/green on the upper with a really nice shiny polish. i think it had a belly-band too. hmmm. sure was nice!
