Hi Christine,
I have been sighted! Very Exciting. My family and I were at Ike Kinswa this weekend in the 16'. We talked to the people with the 13' but didn't get around to asking if they hung out on the boards.

Thanks,
Matt Brown

This weekend in the Pinezanita campground just outside of Julian, CA was a brand new 2008 Bigfoot 17' (with the optional big storage box on front) pulled by a new Cadillac Escalade SUT (similar to Chevy's Avalanche). Then on the way home today I saw a white Hunter-I or Compact-II in an RV repair company's lot on Main Street in Ramona, CA.

I was cruising thru an alley a cupla blocks from home and saw a dirty but otherwise lovely mustard-orange Boler 1300 sitting there. I was worried....the hitch latch lever was up with no sign of a padlock.

Two sightings yesterday:

1. Northbound QEII highway near Olds, about 10AM, it looked like a Surfside or Beachcomber.

2. Easbound Trans Canada highway near highway 93 turnoff to Radium Hot Springs, about 11:40AM, it was a 15" Trillium Jubillee. It looked like it was lifted and sitting higher that normal.

It is nice to see these trailers out so early in the season.
You were doin' some serious getalong to get from Olds to hiway 93 in 1:40.... And if you drove by Canada Olympic Park and squinted, you would have seen my egg at the nextdoor RV park.

2 today on my way back to Monterey from northwest of San Francisco (Bodega Bay) ... I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge with a nice 16' Casita. Towed by a Jeep Cherokee i believe. The driver seemed quite content as I passed her. Then an hour later I saw a really shiny 13' Scamp. looked very new and tugged by a green Suburban looking SUV.

a good day!

Saturday May 8. 13' Scamp (green lettering) towed by a subaru, topped with kayak, NJ plates, parked at the Rustique restaurant in Saranac, New York. Excellent dinner, cold evening. Snow by sunday morning. Our Burro still waiting to go on its first camping voyage of the season. Hopefully, next weekend will see us on the road.

While staying in Pacifica this week we were out geocaching and spotted a scamp 16 parked along a narrow street, could be a TV in front but they weren't attached. No signs of life, so we just pointed and drove back to the park.

That's funny, Linda & Dale. While camping in my 1972 Compact Junior at Refugio State Beach this past week, I spotted some geocachers. They were trying to be sly, but I knew their game (oh, too well). I just averted my eyes, tried to pretend I hadn't seen them, and moved on about my business.

I have seen 3 this week, all on Hiway 26 in Oregon, going west. A Casita tugged by a Tacoma, yesterday about Vida, a Perris Pacer and a boler within the past couple days.

A double casita sighting today. First one was a 13' headed west on the 202 and turning north on Loop 101 in Chandler, AZ. It was tugged by a smaller white 4 door SUV, before 9 am this morning, 5-21-10. The second one was more noonish on I-10 in Phoenix, AZ. A 17 ' Casita being towed by a white Ford Ranger headed east on I-10. Were either of these you? Happy travels!
