Two sightings on our recent trip in the Great Lakes area,

The first was only a glimpse of what appeared to be a 16 or 17' Casita in MI. I was on a crossroad just south of Caseville approaching M25 when I saw this trailer flash by southbound Saturday July 31 around 10:45 AM

The second was on the way home. A white over green boler headed westbound on Hwy 401 heading towards Woodstock, ON. 3:45 PM Mon Aug. 2. With a yellow canoe or Kayak on the TV. The TV was green, so I didn't think it was James Kent.

2 Casitas at Devil's Tower, WY July 28

July 28 at Devil's Tower saw a Casita being towed by a silver Honda Ridgeline in the visitor's center parking lot. Then on the way back from Devil's Tower passed another one but forgot the type of tow. Also, on Jul 31 (I think, could have been Aug 1) saw a Casita on I-29 North Bound in Iowa. This was all on a trip from Wyoming to Florida between July 31 and Aug 2.

I was hauling my Boler 1980 (cream white) behind my black Jeep Patriot and gave the driver a "high inch".

Is it somebody from here ?

Thanks.

I could also add that we saw MANY trilliums, crossed on the road, set-up in campgrounds visible from the road or parked in backyards, and also a few Bolers. All diring a rouind trip between Québec city and St-John's Newfoundland, between july 16th and august 1st.

The other interesting trailer I saw is a cadet. When I saw it enternig in our campground, I caled my girlfriend to show her that smaller than the Boler and still allowing to stand does exist. We ran the loop in the opposite way I saw the trailer come in. The owners was a nice senior couple. That happened in J.T. Cheeseman provincial park, Newfoundland.

We made a circle tour from Red Deer, AB to Victoria, BC out Hwy 1 and back thru the south on Hwy 3 between July 16 - 29. My son had fun keeping a tally of the figerglass trailers we saw. We saw a total of FOURTY-THREE trailers on our journey! (unfortunately, he didn't record the TV info)
1 Scamp
1 Burro
1 Casita (at a rest stop in BC)
3 Surf Sides
3 Escapes (one had a 'Solstice' spare tire cover at Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump)
8 Trilliums
10 Bolers (including one rare one from a more square mold from the Earlton, ON factory that we met in the Cottonwood campground at Old Man River - never seen another like it)
15 Bigfoot

I saw 2 Casitas today on I-75 in Florence Ky. One was heading south bound and the other was about a half mile away heading north bound. Funny to see 2 in the same area but heading different directions. The North bound Casita had Michigan plates and the TV was a chrysler town and country van.

On Saturday July 31, I was traveling along Hwy 400 North of Toronto and kept going by a very nice looking Egg as we were moving through heavy traffic.
First time I actually saw an Egg.

Hi Lainey, One of those Surfsides could have been mine. I was heading to Sask around that time frame.

Michigan Sightings!
Saturday at 9am, Casita heading northboound on US 23 (north of M59). Did not get the tow vehicle, but there were a bunch of bikes on the back of the Casita.
Today (Sunday), Same location as above, but now a southbound, burgundy truck pulling a Scamp 13ft. Was it you?

Just returned from picking up my "new" egg in Lolo, Montana! Following are the FG trailers I saw on my adventure:

1. On my way east on 84, I saw a Scamp around 5:45pm Thursday, August 12, stuck in that horrible road construction snarl in the WB lanes. (I got caught in the same snarl today. Bummer!)

2. Friday, sometime around 10:20 am, a Burro on the main drag of Lolo, MT.

3. Same day, about an hour later, a newer Casita heading east on Reserve Way in Missoula. I was headed NW with my new egg in tow!

4. Monday, 8/16, around noonish, a shiny Scamp fifth-wheel heading through Spokane on Division/Highway 2.

Funny, it's tough to pay attention to the tow vehicle--those eggs sure hog the attention!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Saw a Casita (16'?) around 10am today. Southbound on Hwy 2 at Red Deer. The TV was a red truck w/ canopy. We don't see too many Casitas up around here.

Boler - Aug 10th Lunenburg Nova Scotia

Aug 10th a Boler with Nova Scotia plates on the main street of Lunenburg - was paying more attention to the trailer than the tow but it was an older SUV.

Sunday August 22nd I saw a Casita 16 or 17ft arriving at the Kohler Andrae State Park near Sheboygan WI. I camped that weekend there with Cafe Egg.
