Two Casits in Eureka, CA heading south on highway 101, didn't seem to be together, another on highway 299 in the Willow Creek area heading east toward Redding. Watch for them, they're all over the place. One of the Casitas in Eureka really seemed to have much more road clearance than any I have ever seen. Couldn't get close enough to check it out. Marg

Saw a 17' Casita in Winthrop, WA yesterday. They were long time FG people. Today chatted with a couple on Lopez Island, WA who had just acquired their 16' Scamp 10 days ago in Montana. Yeah Glass!!

Two Bolers
Spotted what I think were two Bolers heading east on WA near Concrete Saturday. Noticed one was a dark color (black?) below the waist line. Didn't see the TVs did have the presence of mind to flash them a V for victory sign. I was towing my Trillium at the time.

spotted this afternoon NB Seward Highway headed into Midtown Anchorage, full size pickup pulling a Scamp 5th wheel w/ California plates. Caught up with them at a red light and asked if they were familiar with FGRV. Said they were! - green light had to go. enjoy the rest of your trip.
Last week saw in Anchorage Northern Lights/Lake Otis EB a Toyota SUV pulling a Scamp 16 (pretty sure Scamp - maybe Casita? can't remember 100%) w/ Mississippi plates - and it was -not- user id beckyruns (they posted TV is a Tundra pickup). What are the chances 2 FGRVs from Mississippi in town at the same time?
Enjoy your stay in AK...

I saw a Scamp 13' being towed by a dark green mini-van this afternoon around 4:10 pm., on 22nd St in St. Petersburg. Possibly went up the on-ramp to I-275 N.

Casita 16' or 17' on Hwy 248 in Branson West, MO this morning around 8am. I was sitting inside a restaurant so just got a real quick glance out the window as it drove by.

Not sure if this counts...
...but I saw a Casita on the news this noon.
NBC News was doing a story about preparations for the tropical storm threatening South Padre Island, Texas. They showed a family packing their pickup truck, apparently leaving a campsite at the beach. In the background was a Casita. Not sure of the model, but it looked large (17 foot?) and also looked shiny new.
If that was you packing, I hope you folks made it off the beach and out of harms way!

We've always considered going to the Islands. The only thing that stops us is the ferry charge. I must admit they look beautiful. How was the camping?

I saw a nice tan colored, Scamp? pulling into the Carleton sur-Mer campground in QC on Saturday, 7/23/11. Sorry, didn't catch what was pulling it..too enamoured of the camper.
There was also a small Trillium (I think..) for sale on the side of the road after I left Carleton on Rt 132. For anyone in the area that's looking.

Bigfoot 5th Wheel Victoria
Hi,
This Bigfoot 5th Wheel is for sale here in Victoria. In the photo it looks great but when I looked at it I my heart sank. It was so sad to see a beautiful trailer like this treated so badly! The inside was thrashed. Leaks. Outside jacks bent. Awning broken. The list goes on....
Just thought I'd share.
Phil

Looks at least LAKEworthy to me...
Could you tell if it was on a trailer, or possibly actually capable of going in to the water wheels and all?
I'm seriously looking into the possibility of making my Trillium amphibious (see http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ats-47541.html).
I'd love to know more about that whatever-it-was you saw!
Francesca

My boyfriend (who was an actor) swears it is some kind of traveling set. Id like to believe something this cool looking has a greater purpose. I am hoping it is amphibious. But man was it cool!

Three Casitas being towed by pickups (I think) all together and going westbound on I-84, just outside of Portland, Oregon at about 3:45pm 8/2/11. Wherever you are going or coming from, I hope you're having fun!!
