Not a camper but this😊 Cool to see what’s out there but there’s also something mildly disgusting about the money and excess of our culture on display around here with RVs, 4x4s and other toys.

In Cedar Point Nathan Forest Campground tonight in Croatan National Forest. Three Scamp in the park tonight, two 13s and our 16. Both 13s are relatively new, there's obviously a market for small trailers.

norm heck yes look at all the manufactures cranking out f/glass trailers. we run a 13f scamper here its perfect for us. no b/r no wanted we mainly do boondockings, moochcamping or friend camping.

getting ready to take advantage of a facebook friend to go trouting in va. we didn't even know va had trouts.

we spend very little time in our trailer we don't cook much in her its a place for sleeping changing clothes the rest of the time is spent setting in our chairs enjoying things.

Yeah, I know. I've owned a couple pairs of their pants in an attempt to wear something other than Carhartt all the time, but they just don't fit me right, and are definitely more expensive. Also very clearly (with obvious reasons) a European style, which I'm not completely comfortable in. Nice pants and jackets, though.

And yep, I used to drool over the UniMog. I thought it was a...kuhl combination. Definitely good marketing. Definitely why I pulled in to take a photo.

Yesterday was the day of fiberglass. 17' Bigfoot pulled into the Mountain Home Idaho gas station, and a 13' egg of some type passed by on I 84 at the same time.

I assume you meant I-84, because if you truly made it from Southwest Idaho to anywhere along I-85 (runs from Montgomery, AL to Petersburg, VA), even within the same day, let alone at the same time, you would have been making like a bread truck and hauling buns!

Yep. Mostly pants, one coat. Even aside from the field work I do, I'm always crawling under my camper or truck or doing something that gets me dirty...so I just wear tough pants all the time, and hey, they're supposed to be dirty, right?

They don't wear out as fast. Also, I'm between sizes with most pants. But carhartt offers my waist size in a couple of their pant models. Means I'm almost always wearing double-front canvas pants, but at least they fit. Better than cinching down a belt or wearing pants that are too tight. I guess I'm a perfect candidate for suspenders, but that's kind of a fashion statement these days...

In Assateague National Park for 3 days, prices up to $15. Horses all about and a Casita 16 from Ontario across the street. They ran right over to say high "Norm and Ginny" recognizing three factors identifying us, Scamp 16, Honda Odyssey and Florida plates. The two of them went to Newfoundland last year and had asked for info. It is a small world.

Casita

Saw a Casita, looked like a 16 footer, with a couple of bicycles on the back. Headed south on I-65 in KY around mile marker 48 a little after 4:00 this afternoon. Didn’t catch a glimpse of the TV.

Yesterday on I-10 westbound in CA we overtook an Escape 17 called "Gopher" pulled by a silver Highlander. Sharp-looking rig!

Saw a Casita 17 southbound on highway 1 near Half Moon Bay a couple hours ago... didn't get a good look at the tow vehicle, was a moderately large SUV I think?

Sightings!

Saw my first one!!! Just outside Phoenix headed west on I-10, a white Audi SUV pulling a brand new AIRSTREAM NEST! So exciting to see one with my own eyes (even if it was going rapidly in the opposite direction)!

Hi Jon
So how did it look going down the road? Pretty sharp or just another camper?

Understated is the best way I can describe it. The white-over-grey makes it unmistakable for those in the know, but it doesn't catch your eye the same way polished aluminum does. It was well-matched to the SUV pulling it (not sure if it was a Q5 or a Q7) and looked like a rig that was meant to be moving.
