There's a prominent Escape 21 in your photo—yours? I forgot to mention that we also saw a Happy Camper at Jenny Brook. Didn't get a chance to look inside, though.

July 9 headed north on Hwy 101 near Paso--an older Casita like mine! We were heading south and waving wildly! Did you see us?

I saw *something* being towed up Ocean St Extension in Santa Cruz this afternoon around 5:30... it almost looked like it had a upside down boat for its roof, rather oddly shaped fairly small but tall trailer. I was on a freeway offramp about 5 cars behind stopped traffic waiting to make a left, and this went by on the road I was turning onto.... I tried to read what it said on the upper rear corner but couldn't quite make it out.

From a Google search:
In addition to selling trailers, American Dream is trying to ramp up its rental business. It has already rented out its own trailer and recently turned to Kickstarter to try to raise funding to add five new trailers to its rental fleet. Barring some type of miracle or highly motivated, big-pocketed Kickstarter member, that campaign will be unsuccessful. As of publication, it raised less than $2,000 of its $50K goal and had only 40 hours left. Dahlman told us that the company figured the campaign was a long shot and will continue renting out its one trailer, with plans of adding a second and possibly more in the future.

I considered reporting my own trailer as I travel around the state, as a joke. But then I realized I don't want to constantly post my location on the internet.

Delayed post, but since I snapped a photo and it’s such a good-looking set-up, I’ll share. In Payson, AZ on June 2...

Coincidence

We pulled in to our site here at the Apostle Islands RV Campground this evening and what sat next to us? There was an Escape 21! What a coincidence. We are out on a 3 mos. trip and just today made a guess the number of Escapes we would see: I guessed 5 and my wife guessed 8. We shall see who is correct.

Hey Tom! Good to hear you are enjoying your 5.0. You may recall we met in Chilliwack for dinner and we took delivery on our 19 the same day. Well we are headed back to Chilliwack to pick up our new 5.0 on 7/31.

John, good to hear from you. Obviously you enjoyed your 19'. You will absolutely love the 5.0. I'm thinking about getting another (new) one. Enjoy. Tom

Sighting?

I got this pic in an email from Fl National Forests promoting Cary State Forest in Jax. Nice they choose a Casita for illustration. We’ll put this location on the list

We have been on the road for a week driving from southeast Texas to Chilliwack to pick up our new 5.OTA. Today we had our first sighting of other Escapes and saw three within several hours of each other.

A 5.OTA, a 15 and a 19. All were eastbound on Interstate 90 between Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Butte, Montana. Now we are on the lookout for a 17, 21 and rare 13 to complete our Escape bingo card. [emoji4]

See any Fiberglas trailers ?

Julie and I saw dozens over the last 2 weeks ! At Roseberg. Or. Graffiti Week 'Harry' had a nice red Eco( Boler clone ) near us, with a '55 Chevy Hot Rod . At the 'Rally on the River' vintage meet the next week in Brownsville, Or. there were 4; a Scamp 13' like ours, a 'painted up' Casita, and a 'Big Boler'...were they 17' ? And way over 100 vintage trailers of all types, including a home built wooden trailer from 1926 with wood spoke wheels. AAaannnd . . . we stopped by the 'Oregon Gathering ' at Bullards Beach going home. Even though it had not yet officially started there were a couple of dozen fiberglas trailers already there. LOTs of Escapes ! We could only stay 2 days, had to get back to Sonora for a music gig. Well, it was DOZENS in less than 3 weeks ! David in Fresno and Sonora

Mini boler/Bowler rally!

Arrived last Friday at a family bible type camp where we used to take our children and now our grandchildren to find three bolers there. Unfortunately they were parked in various places so couldn't get a pic with more than one or with my Escape in it as well.

Of course in Manitoba bolers are still popular since they were built here. One boler there had been purchased brand new in 1974 by her grandparents.

And to add to the bolers the speaker this week is Gerry Bowler and much of his family are there with him

Saw a 2013 Casita in Bismarck, ND today. They were filling gas. I stopped and met the couple. They were from Indiana.
So Hi again. He said that they're on here.
Hope you are enjoying Medora and T. Roosevelt National park.

11:45pm tonight(11Aug). what looked like a 13' Scamp on route 50 in Chantilly, Virginia towed by a black truck.

Actually the first fiberglass camper I've ever seen in this area.

1,000 miles on road and no MFG trailers sighted yet. Not towing yet- had to work a conference in Lexington first.

Wednesday picking up new to us 2006 EggCamper (Build sequence 035) - then towing through GA and North FL. White Nissan Frontier as TV.

Taking smaller state routes mostly so not sure who we will encounter.
