This looks like an empty thread, but it showed up as related to the just closed "snow load on roofs", so I clicked on it. The "snow load on roofs" thread was so precious, somebody should write a short story based on that! Or at least write a nice, long word problem for a sixth or seventh grade science class. Wouldn't that be fun? That thread was definitely taking a turn that made it more suitable for the "general chat" area.

Empty thread? It's yours now! I go to bed early. Get up in the morning and a thread is closed. No clue. But I've never seen a new one opened on the same topic. Anyway I'm just south of Barre and we must have close to 20"and it's still snowing. All vehicles cleaned off including the Trillium. I'll plow tomorrow. Raz

That sound like fun. Give it a go Paul the thread is yours to fill! A little humour never hurt anyone... including me!

Empty thread? The start date on it was something like 2006, but no posts showed up when I opened it.

It is about the same here (Woodstock) with snow. Most of it was not very fluffy, so we could have a debate about how much heavier or lighter it will be next week. Whatever the outcome, I am sure glad I built my "Scamport" last December, before the first big dump.

Just the ghosts of discussion along the same lines in winters past!

Once upon a time, there was a lonely Scamp parked next to a small cottage, way up in the Snow Country. The winter storms came fast and hard and, ....
No, I am really not the one to write it, even though I am retired, and I am pretty much snowed in, right now.
