So do the new runaways fit requirements?

The new runaway campers out of Florida are not a fiberglass composite and I wondered if they fit requirements as a “fiberglass “?

I just bought a range runner. Kind of a bed on wheels with ac but only weighs about 700lbsClick image for larger version

Runaway

George Don't know if you have already found it or not but there is a forum just for teardrops . You can find it at tnttt which is teardrops and tiny travel trailers . Lots of info there and many gatherings . I don't think you would be out of place on this forum but tnttt is a much better fit . Lee and Norma

I know. I’ve just always enjoyed the fellowship on this forum in the past. I’ve owned scamps, casitas, mypod, etc.

Me, I see no reason why you would not be welcome here. It is fiberglass, it is a camper and all the problems people have with their campers will be the same thing you will have. All Fiberglass is molded one way or another. Inside a mold or laid down amd molded on a surface.

I can't imagine that a Runaway would have ANY problems, whats to go wrong?

George - Those are nice trailers. I'm sure you've searched around a bit and you may have found this build on Overland Bound by Arkansasdon. He did a great job!

He and I picked our trailers up within a week or 2 of each other with the intention of modifying them. I didn't get a Runaway but rather a Coachmen Clipper Express TD. Quite a different trailer but also with a fibreglass body (FRP).
