so proud of my new friends

ok i know this might be a bit weird,,, but i met a new bunch of friends this weekend at the algonac michigan gathering that i just want to share a little. rather then clog things up here, just go browse the last page of the 23 pages in the ralley section.

not a one of them i wouldn't want to camp with again. great folks.

Lets face it. Fiberglass RVers are special people. I guess there could be a few special people in other areas, too.

John, I hear ya! Thanks to egg gatherings I've made friends and memories that will last a lifetime. I call these things "self leveling." We get together because of a common cause, but everything else becomes not important. Like, what someone does for a job (if they work), where (specifically) they live, religious affiliation, political affiliation, etc., etc. We find so many other things in common... like "where do you like to camp." All that other stuff becomes meaningless.

Well put, Donna. Lots of times it does start with a common interest. I have met tons of great people through trailer rallies, canoe club gatherings, photography forum get togethers, etc. A few over the year have become really true friends, whether local or living a ways away.

Lots and lots of great folks out there.
