"Social Security Only" is a very wide $$$ range. At the low end, no way, at the maximum, could be a lot of fun. I know several individuals that are doing just that in Toyota mini-motorhomes and are doing well until the "Big One" hits.
The "Big One" is that unexpected expense that ranges from needing new tires
, to having a water pump on the TV blow, to being at the mercy of a roadside repair shop for a minor repair that turns into a $600 bill.
Although it may be to late for some, it would be good idea to make a trial run of a month or so to test the waters before giving up everything at home.
