I remember how MOST of us like to see pix so I thought I'd try n post these pix sent to me by another lurker from our site! HE (SHE) didn't take the pix, so don't rag on me on their composition, K??
These pix were taken in a city called 100 Mile House , B.C. Canada (yes thats the citys REAL name). The pix were taken at a 'Show n Shine' and I'm amazed at how many are fixing up and displaying their Glass Eggs!!!

Hey Doug, I met the couple with the red Boler at the Coquihalla toll booth. A group of classic cars were all parked there and they wandered over and we talked trailer.

They all pulled our their digital cameras to show me thier trailers- all color matched with their cars of course. Neat bunch of people and they (like many others) appreciated the inside height of the Trillium compared to the Bolers they had.

Thanks for the pics Doug. Actually the guy with the Volvo and the teardrop is Ingvar, of Acute trailer Manufacturers, just outside Vernon. They make the teardrops and are very welcoming people. We dropped in on them one day before we acquired our egg.
More info at www.adventureteardrops.com/
cheers
Ian

I sure know 100 Mile House...my late grandparents, Charlie and Marie Collett lived on their 400 acre ranch near there for about 25 years raising cattle. One of these days, I'd like to go back and see the house he built .

I figure we can tell when the EhLanders are serious about the metric system when they rename 100 Mile House in kilometers and stop advertising meat in grocery stores by the pound...

Luv the pix! Our UHaul was accented in blue to match the '68 VW pickup we have. Someday, I hope it might be more than just a place to dump camping stuff into.

I treeplanted out of 100 mile house for a summer contract - eating breakfast at Shields Family Restaurant on weekends was a memorable experience. They had the 'Truckers Special' which was basicially 2 of everything (eggs, bacon, sausage etc...) on the menu with endless hashbrowns.

Ah yes, the good old days when I could eat as much as I want without the guilt =)
