Ok - so where are our CSI/NCIS photoshop gurus who can zoom in and enhance the license plate area or do face recognition on the guy and identify who this is?

I would love to try, but the license plate takes up only 9 pixels in that 72 dpi image...there's not enough information there to make anything out. The make of SUV, dog and general description of the guy and of course the location of the photo has the better chance of making a ID.

Here's what I could do on the fly...

Is the TV a late-ish model Toyota 4-Runner maybe?

Daniel,
I think you're right--they do look like the same vehicles. If so, the Casita's tag number is California 1KR4003 and the name "Evelyn" and Jackson, CA are printed on the tire cover. Does that help anyone ID the man in the picture?

I would say the Casita and 4-Runner belong to the photographer who is mentioned in the copyright below the picture, Larry Angier (see his personal photo gallery), and that the person walking the dog (or beer) doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the trailer.

I Think Daniel V has it right.

I am sure Larry & Carolyn are members on at least one of the FG forums.

Two important ingredients for growing such a giant peanut.
