Well, this is the longest I've gone since I bought my
Casita in 2005 that I've not used it for camping. I'm going stir crazy!
Today, I finally nabbed a spot at my favorite RV place to take it in. The leak that I realized I couldn't fix (I'd have had to disconnect the
electrical system to get the seat up and that's just beyond my abilities) will soon by repaired. Also I had some issues with the
electrical part of my hot water heater, so they're going to work on that. Plus check the wheel bearings, and replace a few minor parts that have grown brittle.
And in a few weeks my wife and I will be on our way to Florida for ten days of camping and canoeing on the Suwannee River. After that, it's pretty much non-stop camping in the
Casita every chance we get from April through December.
