Springtime in the Mountains

Yesterday’s high and last night’s low, and the reason I’d always want a furnace in my trailer!

Yes, a working furnace, closed cell foam thick pieces fitted in the roof vent openings and windows covered with aluminized sheets (held to rat fur with Velcro). Also dual propane tanks.

Furnace is a must for us. One year temperature dropped and it snowed in August while camping warmed up snow melted and it was a great day. Today it is -1 C

We had 4 inches of snow yesterday morning, then it melted, got down to the 20's last night and up around 50 today. By Friday we are expecting to be around 80 again. That is why a furnace or electric heater and a campground with elecric is needed in the mountain regions. Temps can very by 50 degrees in a day. I've seen it drop 15 degrees in less than 30 minutes. That's why you always carry a heavy jacket also, even in the summer.
