Don't forget to get your Federal senior pass ($10) for free entry to NPs and half-off campground fees in NP, NF, COE, BLM and TVA. Also has been honored by Tennessee and Louisiana State Parks.

WA has several passes available to Seniors:

Congrads! We have a few in our camping group who love to rub it in. One day, in the not too distant future, we'll have one of those in our family.

Enjoy! D

This subject comes up every once in awhile, and it is good to remind folks they are eligible for a lot of discounts that are little known.

It's not just seniors.. if you have a blue placard, ADA pass for your car.. you are eligible for the "Golden Access" pass from the US government. You get 1/2 price camping in FS, BLM or Corp of engineers parks, and free entry into national park with camping discounts as well.

Pick them up at any Forest Service ranger station. Bring your ADA paperwork and pass.

There really are some great perks for the seniors, as well as the handicapped. Though not all parks are handicapped accessible, I have been pleasantly surprised at how many are.
It just makes me dream of being a senior one day, so I can get some GREAT deals! hehe
