Once upon a time a member here bought a
Fiber Stream trailer. He wasn't impressed with the double bowl kitchen sink, or the Duette 3-burner gas range/oven/furnace, which left no counter space at all. He removed these features and replaced them with a single bowl sink, a 2-burner cooktop, and a new counter, with plenty of space between the sink and stove. He put a
microwave below the cooktop.
He and his wife enjoy their
Fiber Stream for a couple of years, then get 2-foot-itis and sell it, looking for something bigger. The people he sells it to keep it for a couple of years before
they sell it.
The next owners did research here and fell in love with the
Fiber Stream brand, and decided to buy one just in time for the second owners in our story to put theirs on the market.
These third owners go to considerable expense and effort to find a Duette gas range/oven/furnace and a double bowl sink. They remove the single bowl sink, 2 burner cooktop, and
microwave and meticulously modify the kitchen back to it's original configuration.
