Strangest Modifications

I've only been here a little over a year, but I've been amused and amazed by some of the proposed and actual modifications. Some that caught my eye:
  • Inquiry about installing a bath tub in a 13 footer
  • Installation of a dishwasher in a 13 footer
  • Adding several feet of length to the middle of a Bigfoot
  • Various campers converted to popcorn, coffee and doughnut wagons
What is your favorite?

How can I install a full size King bed, a hot tub, and full kitchen in 13' Scamp?

And I want to be able to two it with my 1957 Isetta and expect to get over 100 mpg.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Once upon a time a member here bought a Fiber Stream trailer. He wasn't impressed with the double bowl kitchen sink, or the Duette 3-burner gas range/oven/furnace, which left no counter space at all. He removed these features and replaced them with a single bowl sink, a 2-burner cooktop, and a new counter, with plenty of space between the sink and stove. He put a microwave below the cooktop.

He and his wife enjoy their Fiber Stream for a couple of years, then get 2-foot-itis and sell it, looking for something bigger. The people he sells it to keep it for a couple of years before they sell it.

The next owners did research here and fell in love with the Fiber Stream brand, and decided to buy one just in time for the second owners in our story to put theirs on the market.

These third owners go to considerable expense and effort to find a Duette gas range/oven/furnace and a double bowl sink. They remove the single bowl sink, 2 burner cooktop, and microwave and meticulously modify the kitchen back to it's original configuration.

This guy gets infinity mpg from his Isetta when towing, though I guess it's not what you meant.....

People ask me if they can walk around the bed in the Escape fifth wheel. I tell them, "Sure, if you are 1.5 feet tall.

A couple of summers ago in Montana I meet a nice young couple with a 16' trailer that had a front ending loading washing machine in it.... she hates having to go to the laundromat... oh and it wasnt a tiny little washing machine either...
