Stromberg Propane tank holder Installation

I have a single propane tank setup on my 2014 Scamp held down with the old style metal straps. I want to convert to a Stromberg circular setup. Does anyone have any tips for the best install? Thanks.

I have that setup on my 1977 Scamp 13'. I have two angle brackets welded to the inside of the frame (spaced to accommodate the bottom of the tank) and the holder welded to the back angle bracket. Works fine.

Dual propane tank installation

Scamp just uses the tray and holder, and screws it onto the top of the frame with self tapping screws.
If you get one of those kits, you have the option of using your current regulator/hose and just switch to the other tank manually, or purchasing a new double hose regulator that gives you the option of automatic switchover.
I had thought about moving my double tanks further back, and then moving the battery in front of them but never did.

If you do get a new propane double tank regulator, I highly recommend getting a Marshall Excelsior made in USA...
