Very sad. Condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed greatly on this site..always willing to offer advice (even if they did want a 13 with a washroom). Glad to hear he was doing what he liked to do.. A message to us all not to put off things until later.

I hope this is not insensitive, but it is good to hear that he was happy and doing what he loved.
My condolences to you Judy. Bob was a quality guy. Being on the road must make this more complicated for you.
Bob and I did not always agree, but I really enjoyed arguing with him.

Sorry to hear about Bob's passing....
His advice on Compact Jr's was very helpful to me. And thanks to the great archive and search function of this website his knowledge on fiberglass campers will be a blessing to lots of future egg owners.

We had been waiting to hear from him for a possible visit to Renton, WA and a look-see at our shell...was about to query on site to see if he was still interested. Am shocked and saddened to hear of his death...
He was one of the most knowledgeable and his advice and intense caring will be missed sincerely.
A big loss. We are so very sorry. Our deep sympathy to his family.

Jud, I am so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Although I have been a member for a few years I have spoken with very few people directly on here. I am proud to say that Bob was one of the few. His comments to me at the end of December were helpful and appreciated.

Bob had been there and done that and was always willing to share his experiences to help others on their way to successful camper repairs or travel.
All one can say is he will be missed. And remembered by many as they use the repair he guided them through or knowledge he contributed to their lives.

I second his loss as particularly significant for those of us with Compact II's. We had been plying him with questions preparatory to a kitchen upgrade
We have lost a great resource
RIP , happy trails in the great beyond

Oh, this is very sad news. I always enjoyed reading Bob's posts and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about fiberglass RVs and many other things as well. He was so generous with that knowledge as well. I and the entire FGRV community will miss him for sure. My condolences go out to his family.
