I hope you are aware that in Canada, Thursday only occurs every second week.

Then I guess I'm lucky Glenn that I'm picking up on a week that has one

Are those day/night shades on the windows, or just night ones? No rattling blinds for you, I see.

Mike, they're called Draw down pleated shades with valences on the brochure. So no, not really "night" shades in the sense they totally block any light. But, as many times I've been inside an Escape at night, the shades do a great job.

Totally stoked and happy for you Donna. With all you have contributed to this forum and to answering my own questions I can only wish you the best of memory making in your new camper.

May the wind always be a mileage increasing tail wind, may the construction lane always be on the other side and may the mosquitos flee before the awesomeness of your new camper.

Three days! I don't even know why I booked a motel room in Chilliwack. I'll probably stay up all night sitting in a chair... tapping my foot

Glad your Ten Forward is almost here. Are you going to christen it with a bottle of Happy Camper wine? Enjoy all the new camping days in TF. Best wishes.

Donna, I have no idea what you really look like; but I picture you leaving the factory with your beautiful new camper. The highway out of town is lined on both sides, nose-to-tail, with fiberglass trailers and miles of well-wishers . Fireworks, horns honking, cheering crowds, etc. The only thing brighter than your Carmen Miranda camping hat is the smile on your face.

Well... we'll all be there in spirit anyway. I'm liking this thread because it's been a good vehicle for everyone to let you know how much they appreciate you and what you bring to this forum. You deserve all the accolades and good will. Have fun, make lots of memories and take pictures. Where have I heard that before?

Tom

I visualize you standing at the fence at 4AM, hanging on to the gate and chanting "OPEN,OPEN,OPEN"................

You guys are all cracking me up! And truly, thanks for the support. I'll see if I can upload a picture or two either Thursday or Friday. That is, if the campground's WIFI is working.

I just imagined you curled up on the Escape factory doorstep at 0600 Thursday. Happy times and memories ahead. So happy for you!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you are so close to pick up. It seems like only yesterday when you announced you had put in your order. You must be bursting with excitement!
