Ten forward is born!

Every Friday, those that are getting a custom ETI build get "baby" pictures. These are the first ones for me.

Ten Forward. You are quite a fan of Star Trek.

Very nice trailer Donna. I am glad for you.

It's beautiful! The great thing is you have all the pictures as it's coming to life. Is that a NCC-1701 on the front? As the Klingons would say "Qapla" (well done). Soon it will be ready to go where no man has gone before. Live long and prosper!

ETI really knows how to build excitement for owners of their trailers. I'll get several more sets of pictures before completion. Stand by!

I've been asked via PM by several people how I came up with the name for my 5er. Those that know Star Trek are already in the know, for the rest... as posted on the EscapeForum.

As is said, there are Ford people and there are Chevy people.

There's also Star Trek people and Star Wars people.

I've been a Trekkie of sorts since the campy original series debuted in 1966. To seek out new life... to boldly go (where I've never gone before)....

One of my favorite series was Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG). On board the starship NCC-1701-D was an area where the crew went to relax. That lounge and recreation area was on deck 10, section 1, the forward section.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

The name of that facility and what I'm going to call my beautiful trailer is: TEN FORWARD

Ten Forward is the hub of the ship's social activity. Everyone on board comes here." - Jean-Luc Picard (TNG: "The Offspring")

Children are not usually allowed in Ten Forward unless accompanied by an adult. (TNG: "Imaginary Friend")

In case of low-power or emergency situations, Ten Forward is a designated emergency environmental support shelter. (TNG: "Night Terrors," "Disaster")

And my personal favorite account: Thomas Riker's description of Ten Forward in a romantic clue to ship's counselor Deanna Troi was "What the future holds, no one can know, but forward we look and forward we go." (TNG: "Second Chances")

I never thought I'd have an opportunity to purchase the tenth of any Escape build. Maybe the 110th, but not the 10th... especially a 5th wheel. I am willing to wait however long it takes to own the 10th new Escape 5th wheel off the line.

This is FATE and is partially defined as:

1 - A power that is believed to control what happens in the future

2 - The things that will happen to a person or thing : the future that someone or something will have

3 - The will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do : destiny

As Paul Havey would say... Now you know the rest of the story.

Besides, Ten Forward is also the name of a coffee shop in Los Angeles.

lol GEEK! That's a cute story and yes I immediately recognized the name. I like star trek alot, the whole adventure thing. Bigger star wars fan because my secret urge to be a jedi!

I'm trying to resist spending $139 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...tronic-scoring

When We Get Around To It we're going to get the Appropriate Decals for our 16-footer and it'll be a shuttlecraft. STNG, flavour. We're trying to think which one, though...
