When they can tow 3000 lbs and go 75 mph for 300 miles without a recharge I might look at one. The thing with electric cars is if we all had one we would have to built a lot of power plants. Hopefully better batteries coming soon. The motors are very capable so they just need much better batteries

Eleven stops of one hour and 13 minutes on average to charge. I guess one could spend that time doing maintenance.
I have two 40 watt solar panels and a Honda 1000 to maintain my trailer battery when boondocking. How do I charge the Tesla so I can get home from my special camping spot that has no services?
And, an average travel speed of 26 mph? I presume that includes the time spent waiting for the vehicle to charge.

I would often agree but since I am not yet retired there are times when destination wins. Especially when you only have 4 or 5 weeks per year.

Not quite. They fired several employees after an annual performance review. Layoffs are not performance related, and require filing certain notices beforehand in order to comply with rules in several states, including California where the firings occurred. No such filings were done, because firing employees for poor performance is not a layoff, and such notice is not required.

according to the news release

reading into the news release they are way behind on production goals! This could be for many reasons not disclosed.

we will see as all this unfolds. keep selling stock I suppose! I don't know how many parts are in one of these cars but keeping that inventory flowing, paying for all those parts when due, employee pay and benefits will soon play out also.

Now every manufacture is going to be chasing the same thing and the pie is only so big!

Fun to watch. I ended up watching another couple of videos that were recorded in Norway with larger campers too. I even see electric busses in Chicago. I hope my next car is electric.
