The American Dream Trailer

I can't imagine this company hasn't been posted before, but a search brought me nothing: The American Dream Trailer Company | Teardrop Camper Trailers I was looking at RV Trader online today and came across 3 of them, new ones, running a little under $8,000.

I was impressed by them. I don't have a need for a rowboat, and they are a mini-trailer/teardrop type, so many might not have a use for them, but they are very attractive.

Nothing gets by this group for very long . Paul Dahlman, the owner of the American Dream Trailer Company is a member of FiberglassRV.

Here's his first post from several years back: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...-or-43822.html

Donna D., that was 2010! What a memory you have! It would be just awesome for a fisherman. Been awhile since I fished, and not from a boat.

Paul's announcement about acquiring the molds is from September 2010. It's been 8 years.

His last forum activity was: 05-19-2015 02:18 PM (over 3 years ago).

Nothing on The American Dream Trailer Company Facebook page is newer than May 2017, and his website copyright is 2016.... this does not appear to be a company that wants people to think it's still in business.

The 3 trailers listed on RV Trader are 2018 models at a dealer in Salem, OR.

I agree, and frankly, I think I'd get to feeling claustrophobic real quick. I need to have some breathing room, and my Scamp 13 is about the minimum I need to not feel closed in.

Really cool and unique. I checked them out for kicks, cheapest one now is $12,200. I am sure there is a market for them. If I were singl;e it would be awesome!!
I will stay with my 17 ft Casita for now.

Right, price goes up to over $16,000. They are CUTE, though. Two of us would never make it in there. LIGHT...tongue 47 pounds, I think? Weight under 850? Something like that.

So many people want lighter trailers under 1,000...this is one option.

If you weren't going to do any boating, you could leave the boat at home....
