I had NO IDEA this was in the offing!
How exciting.
I cruised the Armadillo web site and was impressed with the new quality plus a dinette/benches for eating (at least it looked like both a bed and the dinette set would be in the little 13' NEW Boler.). Is this how others interpreted their pics?
I'm dying to know the base price for the new 13' Boler.

I don't like the name and if I had one the first thing to go would be the name.
Spend a few bucks to develop a professional web site that offers information.
A set of photo's does not cut it when you choose not to explain anything about the build quality/ materials.

Website
What website? I can't find anything.
The pictures posted in this thread are interesting, but if I were posting a picture of my product, I think I would have something, anything than a couple of steel drums and a Cyclone fence for a backdrop...

A quick Google search turns up at least two other Armadillo RVs, totally different, and a company making portable buildings. So name change would seem to be in order.
Maybe Coca Cola.

I kinda like the name. More information and a base price is must though. Interested in how the mould was modified. It's great to see all of these FGRV's popping up everywhere.
Best of luck
show us the money!

If they want to keep the Southwest US theme, how about Chupacabra?

Found this on a Kijiji web site:
THE ARMADILLO.
We have two of the original boler moulds. They have been modified to make the new armadillo trailers.
We are starting the first two of our signature series!
All the armadillo trailers are built tough and on a custom level. The craftsmanship and quality is like no other and the options are endless........so
WHAT ARE YOU INTO?!
Call now and be one of the first to get one of these awesome trailers!
End
So, lots of hyperbole, but no trailers at this point.

The second interior picture shows an old fashioned jalousie window. I wonder if this was from a Boler rebuild or if they're offering the old style windows?

As most of us know there are many possible improvements that can be incorporated today versus what one could do 30 years ago.
I'd really like to hear what modification improvement was made to the mold as well as frame/ running gear.
What idea's are incorporated in the interior fit / finish.
Maybe its just premature to roll this out without more thought.

Well, I don't know. Look at the two pictures of the kitchen area on the web site. The taps and faucet are different. Compare the stove hood. One is stainless or chrome and one is enamel or paint. One pic shows a stripper pole support for the roof and one doesn't.
Draw your own conclusions.

The Kijiji ad does say they are made on a custom level. Perhaps it's very custom, not just some options between some items.
Still I hope the OP pops back in and fills us in a bit more.

Normally, you build a trailer and then take pictures of it.

Tough crowd. Hummm... I don't think so. I just noticed interior pics from at least two different trailers. The unitiated may think they were from the same build..
I hope the manufacturer is succesful...

I'm not going to comment on the quality of the build or design as we are a potential competitor but I am curious about their statement that they have two of the original moulds. Are they the complete moulds with all the interior components and the inset tail lights which I don't see on their prototype or just the top and bottom shells

Looks like a situation similar to Trillium Outback. A shop that does repairs but can build a new trailer if ordered. I wish them luck. Raz
