I'm not usually wearing my ear-flap hat and heavy coat in late march in Philadelphia...very weird month!

Did Phil say WHERE spring would be? It's here in Fresno, pollen and all.

I am happy - but a trifle envious of the parts of the world who have spring.

Around here the groundhog is apologising like crazy!

Never seen Phil with a S&W before. Somebody is a pretty good shot with a pistol, Diane. Incidentally blood removes bluing.

Spring is definitely here in Red Bluff, CA. We are eight days into a month long trip. Left Bellingham, WA looking for some sunshine and warmer weather and we didn't find any until we got here. All around the Olympic Peninsula and down the Washington and Oregon coasts we were treated to rain, hail, near freezing temps at night and high winds (with admittedly a few sunny breaks thrown in) It's sunny and 72 degrees here and all the trailer windows, vents and the door are open! I can't believe how good it feels to be warm and dry again!

Seems like I remember that Phil doesn't apply in Arizona. I think it's a sidewinder there. Can't remember his/her name.

Three Ospreys showed up yesterday after the snow. They have taken a liking to a tree in front of the house by the water. One flew over the house today carrying a fish so I guess they think spring is near.
