Came across this 42 Dodge Bros. on the weekend. It's ALL original and STILL in service.
He's turned down $ 10 Gs so I guess it's not for sale. He uses it for spider sprayingin cottage country around LongPoint Bayon Lake Erie.

I have been building old cars and trucks for more years than I can remember. If someone offered him 10K for that truck and he didn't take it then that is where two fools met. Just my opinion.

It wasn't the money that I found interresting. It was the fact that after 64 years this thing is still running and hasn't been restored at all.

He looks like he has it set up for his business.. 10k probably would cover that loss.. just a guess.

It certainly is fun to know that it still lives! Neat stuff.

Our other hobby is the restoration of a 52 Ford pickup. After 50+ years it still runs, will go all day on cruise control (throttle knob on dash), Air Conditioning (2 vent windows) automatic wiper control (you speed up they slow down) and with 4.27 gears will pull any stumps or trailers needed!

Poor thing, I don't think even a gallon of Por-15 will help that rear fender.

Great truck---and good to see it is running so well after that many years with all the orignial parts; it gives me hope.
